This brand is fantastic, and the only one I buy now. Microblift is a solid, US based brand, and I switched from API to this as the API made me nervous based on what they do to pond bacteria (the good ones) and my plants seemed sickly. This does a FANTASTIC job of controlling algae and not effecting my beneficial pond bacteria. I couple it will cleaning my water intake filter and add their PL pond bacteria. I can't recommend this enough. Excellent customer service out of Florida. They know their stuff and it is quality.

Our home inspector recommended this item for our small pond/water garden that has a 25’ man made stream leading to a small waterfall that empties into the pond. Last year I tried everything I could find to try to keep the various types of algae under even the smallest amount of control to no avail! The whole thing was a big green mess! I was told by the previous owner that the algae problem was an uphill battle. This year the algae was back. I found the info about this product that the home inspector had given me and ordered it. In May, I emptied the pond and power washed the whole thing again as I had done almost weekly the previous year. Filled it up and added the Microlift. I waited a couple of days and added their Sludeaway product that I also purchased. Then I waited for the algae to attack. Much to shock and amazement, my pond water is clear and even after a very hot summer so far I only have a few black spots on some of the rocks! No thick green fuzzy algae all over the rocks and the muck at the bottom of the pond is almost all gone also. I do not have fish so I can’t say how it would work with them. I have lots frogs, toads, tadpoles and lots of aquatic plants. My pond also gets lots of full sun. Extremely pleased with these two products!

I really like the Microbe-Lift products. I use them in my aquariums and not been disappointed. My substantial outdoor water fall has a lot of wild life so I wanted something safe to slow or kill the algae. It stopped the growth and killed what was rampantly growing. No impact on the wild life. They have a sludge eating product that i use with it which helps with the cleaning by keeping the debris easy to break up and pump out.

This eventually helped make the pond water very clear. It wasn’t instant but maybe took a couple of months. I used it once a week and finally got good results. Must be consistent. Be sure to follow directions. I can now see the fish!
