When I choose ORSKEY Dash Cam I also looked for hardwire kit as well because without it, it would not be secure my car in a parking lot. There are so many different item, but I prefer ORSKEY Dash Cam Hardwire Kit, because it is same company which supports the Dash Cam more suitable.Other point was that it has got three wires - Ground, ACC and BAT + instead of two. So, it is more stable output and more safety protection. Also it has got low-voltage protection as well. It will shut off the power when the battery voltage drops the certain level, that protects the battery dischargeTherefore, this Hardwire Kit could provide 24/7 protection against any incident.The diagram paper that shown how to connect the wire is very helpful and connection was very easy.Also this package has got 2 x Mini ACS Add-A-Circuit Fuse Holder and 2 x ATO ACU Add-A-Circuit Fuse Holder. The Crowbar is also very useful. However, my car’s fuse is Miro 2 type, so I had to buy Micro 2 Fuse Holder.If this package includes Miro 2 Fuse Holder, it will be perfect.

This kit provides all you need to hardwire a dash cam into any car. All that is needed apart from tucking the wires out of sight behind the cars trim is to locate two power wires on the interior fuse box, one from the battery, power at all times, and one that is controlled by the ignition switch, both easy to find on widening diagrams, and use the supplied piggy back fuse to power you unit. The only tools you will need is a fuse puller, inside most car fireboxes and a cheap circuit test. Simple job I’m no electrician mechanic and after a short study of the papers I finished the job in just o er a hour. One point if you are hardwiring in a dash cam you need to inform your insurance as it classed as a modification.

This product is a must have to any dash-cam in my opinion and works well.I agree with another review - upon fitting as per the instructions with yellow in perm live, I came to use the car (2018 Audi A4) with low battery warning. It is possible that the battery would not have been drained any further but if the low voltage protection but seems odd to let it get as low as the car showing a warning.Whilst the car is in little use, I have plugged both in the ignition on fuse which continues to charge the dashcam only whilst the engine is running. The dashcam seems to have enough power to keep going for the parking feature for a short while at least. Yet to test this long term.Instructions could do with being a little clearer but with some googling and forums, it is relatively easy to fit.

Value for money

Purchased this Orskey hardwire kit to match my Orskey cam. First off, it looks and feels of good quality and installs confidence that it has two wiring options which can if chosen allow the camera to operate in parking mode. After a quick spot of research into what trim to pop off to conceal the wiring and where to locate the best earth to vehicle and identify the relevant fuses to piggyback, the install didnt take long. I should note that my particular vehicle has micro style fuses of which the piggyback adaptor for this style is not included in the kit. However the instructions state that if you require this type they will send you one. This is exactly what I done via a short email and Orskey posted the adaptors to me. Good stuff. Customer service was good and my kit is now installed and the camera is working very well, with the auto record start/stop option working everytime.

Fantastic product. Plenty of cable for running behind trim. Enables power on with ignition off (as long as battery has sufficient charge - then it disables this apparently).

This thing is useless as the fuses are not compatible with my own. The adaptor will plug in and after following the instructions to piggy back off a live fuse it still doesn't power the camera when the car is off.

Installed this into a 2020 Nissan Leaf using the fusebox on the passenger side to provide the power. Really simple to install, however had to but some Mini-fuses to fit into the cable adapters that matched the rating of the car (The Leaf uses Micro Fuses that don't fit into the cables) Cable routing fully hidden by car trim and only took 15 mins to fully install and test.Instructions are simple and adequate for anybody with a little bit of electrical knowledge- ie know how to read a fuse box layout and understand the meaning of the symbols. Good quality piece of kit.
