OREI 4K HDMI Splitter 1 in 2 Out Mirror only with auto downscaling, Advanced EDID Management & 3D Support (UHD-PRO102)

Bought the UHD-PRO104. Worked great as advertised. Very easy to setup, plug and play. Can even be run using an external battery pack power supply. Did exactly what I wanted. It is also smaller than I anticipated, which is actually a good thing. Build quality also seems high. Will update if I encounter any issues.

I'm using this to split the output from a Chromecast Ultra to a 4K TV and an AV receiver. My receiver is old and doesn't support 4K passthrough, so I need a direct connection from my Chromecast to my TV in order to get 4K video. But I also want the best possible sound for my home theater.So far it is working great. My TV recognizes the 4K signal from my Chromecast, and my receiver gets a 5.1 signal.I had a similar unit from another manufacturer, but it only worked for about six months. Reviews from this and other similar devices seem to indicate a very short lifespan. However, unlike my previous device, this one has an on/off switch, so I'm hoping that keeping it off when not in use will extend the life. Fingers crossed.EDIT: In using this with my Chromecast Ultra I've learned that every time I first turn everything on, the Chromecast reverts back to 1080 video. Every time I want to watch 4K video I have to go into the Chromecast settings and change the display back to 4K, then power cycle this device. So it works, but it's not ideal.EDIT 2: I discovered that the problem I was having with my Chromecast was because of the Chromecast, not the splitter. I started having Chromecast problems even when it was connected directly to my TV. I purchased an Amazon Fire Stick 4K Max and it works perfectly with the splitter.

This worked beautifully with all products in my system except my Sony UPB-X7000 blueray player. This player is a high-end product with ultraHD, true 4K, and HDR10. Is my experience expected and what splitter CAN i use in my system?

We had a working 1080 splitter and needed a 4K type to pass our Comcast higher bandwidth 4K box output across two HDTVs (one in living room (2021 4K Samsung) and the other in Kitchen (2015 Samsung HD 720).Absolutely no issues in picture degradation nor response speed. This box does the job perfectly. You won't know the signal is being split!It also give you two options for how the outgoing signal is handled across your two TVs where one might be early in model year and not handle a high grade signal through this splitter.Our 2015 Samsung 720 HD in the kitchen was fine with this splitter in it's standard output position (A) for a 4K (or 1080 output upscaled to 4K) signal to both TVs. Our 720 HP Samsung in the kitchen had no issues in down-converting the 1080/4K output down to its 720 HP resolution.No mismatching or other issues and in fact I did try both the A and B switch settings and my TVs both worked fine in either setting.5 stars all around!

This was exactly what I needed and worked great. For about a week! This morning was rearranging computer setup so unplugged HDMI cords then plugged it all back in and started it up. Could not get a signal. Then I decided to try a different HDMI cord and that worked but suddenly the bottom of the screen developed a static electrical thing and there were electrical sounds coming from the TV. I was afraid it was going to blow my TV up. I have my TV hooked up to my PC by the way so at first I also thought maybe it was my video card. In the end after much switching and checking HDMI cords and video cards and another TV it turns out that this device somehow burnt out my original HDMI cord and I can only assume was about to destroy my TV (and 2nd hdmi cord) with that electrical, whatever it was on the screen.I was so glad when I first got this because it resolved the hassle of plugging and unplugging different HDMI cords depending on what I needed. Unfortunately it only lasted for a week. I will never trust this company again as it could have destroyed my very expensive 4K qled TV.

I have an ice cream shop with a multi-camera security system. I have two monitors but only one HDMI port on my camera DVR. This product I bought has one input and four outputs, which is more than I need (at the moment). It was super easy to install and I have crystal clear pictures on both of my LED monitors. Also, this splitter was less than half the price at Best Buy. Very happy with my purchase!

Bought this to split my signal from my Xbox series s to my razer capture card and tv without loosing quality. I already was compromising with 60hz instead of 120 at 4K but I was disappointed to fire up my Xbox and see that it only supports 50, at least for the series s. But it also doesn’t even tell you that. It says it doesn’t even support 50. (But it does, I also just bought brand new 8k cables just for this so that is not it) And it also doesn’t seem to allow HDR at all, or Dolby Vision. Overall I’m not very mad because it does its job at letting me stay at 4K while recording on my LG Oled tv. But it really does take a big hit in quality from it. (If the HDR worked I would have no complaints!!) I’ll have to see about the longevity and when it does break I will probably come up with a better solution but do what you will what that info!
