Great practice tool
With a good pair of headphones, it is wonderful! Good presets that have VERY easily-modified parameters, sounds excellent, very varied amps/IRs/effects - great practice tool!

Excellent product with a few small hitches.
This is an excellent product. I’ve played guitar as a hobbyist for about thirty years, and if you want a simple, fun, plug and play solution for individual silent practice, this is a very good choice.Paired with your iPhone, it’s pretty simple to dial in a good tone—there are many usable sounds, along with some not as useful ones. Predictably, the DSP stuff (delays and reverbs, etc) are fantastic, and the drive tones a bit one dimensional, but overall there are many totally acceptable sounds, and the sound quality is very good. Playing with unconventional options (a heavily distorted Roland Jazz combo) can result in very pleasing tones.Playing along with whatever music app (or YouTube) you have on your phone is a snap, it syncs right up. I wish there was a simpler method of balancing guitar and music inputs to your headphones—a couple of analog thumb wheels would be better than digging around in the app, and it’s hard to get the backing music volume high enough. But overall, the value for the money here is outstanding and I recommend grabbing one.

Great for working from home!
Nice practice setup with Headphones. My wife and son and I are all working/schooling from home, and I noodle around in between meetings, so its kinda rude to plug in through the amp. I could run headphones from my main setup, too, but its just easier to use this.It sounds really good with decent effects that have adjustable parameters. Hooked up to the computer you can play along with backing tracks on Youtube, or even import into a DAW. They are very low latency. I have really nice Senheiser headphones and it sounds great with them, but not too bad in cheap skull candy earbuds, either. A little bit of distortion on the low end with the cheaper pair.It has backing beats that you can play along with, but I cant figure out how to play along with the included backing tracks. Is this a pro recording setup? No. Its a nice practice headphone amp that has nice sounding effects and amp sims. Very basic but great for what I use it for.

Get one of these.
Since I have grown older, this is the kind of thing that fits my lifestyle. Most of my gear is in the basement and I've always wanted to just have an electric guitar "upstairs" near my TV. Trouble is, of course, I didn't want to have to bring up an amp. A nice guitar is like a piece of beautiful furniture. It's art. But an amp with chords, etc., well, they're not as welcome in my house. Enter, the Nux Mighty Plug. Now, I don't have to settle for un-amped "pretend" electric. I have the real thing...more or less, and no chords to tether myself outside of the earbuds which I keep wrapped around the unit when not in use. It's really nice to be able to stroll around the family/living room and kitchen whilst playing I can tell you.I've found for my current taste, the clean sound is quite nice and I do find (I can't believe I'm saying this as an old rocker) the distortion a little too much but with the app, of course, that can be dialed down and saved. If anything, it's the app that could use some more options and perhaps a better design though I haven't spent a lot of time delving into it and have not thus created a wish with the exception of figuring out how to add my own Jam tracks to the app. Of course, you can play anything on a bluetooth enabled device and jam with that. Regarding that, I use an Android-based phone and Applian Media Catcher to get mp3's and Smart Audiobook Player to set my library of tracks. That makes is even more convenient although I started off with finding Youtube backing tracks. In the past couple of days I've also taken advantage of the drum machine that's built into the app. Nice. It just appears that one should be able to add songs/artists. Again, I have looked around but perhaps I'm missing something obvious. If the device seems a little pricey, just cut out the expensive coffee for a couple of weeks to offset the cost. This is one cool piece of gear that you will use often and your neighbors might even pitch in if they knew you wouldn't be playing your guitar at all hours of the night!

Wow! Incredible features A MUST BUY
The one negative my girlfriend and I have is how much the volume changes between the presets... And there isn't a way to easily adjust a "master volume", even in the app. Oh, and instructions said there's a toggle for bass vs guitar - didn't see that actually work nor show up in the app.We played around with it today as many ways as we could (didn't try streaming audio to a laptop). My girlfriend has been playing guitar for 20 years and is astounded by all of the magic in this gizmo. She's got a spendy fender amp which does Bluetooth and has all the magic settings and loved how this basically replaces her amp.Just the simple headphones on and ability to walk around playing made her really happy. I got the app & connected then plugged in to my bass amp so we could both hear the various effects. I love how there are a number of presets and the way the app has filters arranged by a few types with lots of ways to mess with the settings. It's infinitely adjustable.Tried out the beats, background tracks, everything. Nice unit.I paired it with the BT audio out from my phone and was immediately playing along to my playlist I'm working on learning ... Or with songster pro. And I can do this anywhere & not disturb people. 🥺This gizmo is a must buy.
