We have a very hyper 3 year old lab that has been impossible to walk since we got her a year ago. We’ve tried everything from nose leads to choker collars to harnesses. Nothing would work even training with treats and other incentive.I did have to buy extra links for this size to fit her neck correctly, she is 75 lbs with extra skin around her neck. As soon as we stepped outside to test it out for a walk around the block, she yanked as she usually does and the prong collar did its job! She did not like the tightening sensation and really didn’t pull too much for the rest of our test walk. We still have to train her more with this collar since it is a training tool, not to be used forever.Definitely do your research with these collars to know how to fit it correctly and how to introduce your dog to it. We gave our dog lots of treats to create a positive association with the collar. It creates pressure all around the neck, instead of at one point like other collars and leads, and it imitates a mom’s bite so the dog knows the sensation means that they’re doing something wrong.

I used this for the first time yesterday. I love it! I only had to gently tug it twice. My dog is a 55lb lab mix. Each time she went slightly ahead of me, she turned to me and came back or waited for me. I'm using a 5 ft leash with it. It was the most enjoyable walk with her to date. I have had training sessions for her, but I'm unable to correct her the right way with a slip lead. This is a God send. It did not hurt her at all.I'm having a very hard time though with taking off and putting on the links. I watched several videos and it is still very hard for me. I just ordered Katie's Buckle to attach to it to make it easier.

Great quality product, I would highly suggest if you have a guarding breed and need correction . My boy was not good on leash in public . Put this on and no more issues took two corrections now walks beautifully.

Great training tool for my 3 year old canecorso. Luckily I watched some videos on how to remove links. There weren't any instructions included.

This was a lifesaver for us. We have a German shepherd how pulls while we are on walks. He no longer pulls and listens very well with this on. Definitely helps when training a puppy. Would recommend to any dog owner!

A dog trainer recommended this to me to help with training my German Shepherd to walk alongside me during walks and I was terrified about buying it because it looked like it would hurt him but I got it and tried it anyway and thankfully he didn't seem to mind it at all! It wasn't too difficult to put on and take off once you got used to squeezing the links, the hardest part was getting it on a fidgety untrained dog. Over time I stopped using it because he learnt not to pull on the leash during our walks which was the goal so I would say it works. We also store it outside and it's been 5 years and there's still no rust so it's great quality to have. I recommend this for anyone looking for a pinch collar to train their furry babies.

The size fits and works well on my 10 lb. maltipoo that has 1,000 lbs. of attitude. The smallest prong collar I purchased at the local pet store was actually too big after removing prongs to get it to fit. This micro collar wraps all the way around my dog's neck and works to control my beast. A little difficult to put on and off, but it's worth it.
