Replacement Parts for Medela Harmony Manual Pump; 4 O-Rings, 2 Membranes by Maymom

Fits my medela handpump perfectly. Good quality and works well. Will continue buying pump parts for both my medela and spectra from Maymom.

Thank goodness for this replacement set! I had no idea what an O-ring was, but after (somehow) losing it, I quickly understood its importance! The pump cannot work without it, so I panicked when I realized that this teeny part had fallen off. Before this set arrived, I ran to Home Depot (per a suggestion I found online) and purchased the smallest O-rings they had, and I managed to get the pump to work, but the handle kept popping off because they were just too thick. Thanks to 2-day shipping, I had these in no time and they were the perfect fit! My hand pump works like new and I have 3 spare O-rings in case one disappears again. The price was also a lot cheaper than the Harmony parts replacement set sold by Medela, which was nearly the same price as the pump itself! I haven't used the membranes yet, so I can't comment on those.

I ordered these after my original o-ring snapped when I took it off to inspect it. It had gouges in it and was partially torn in another spot. I have used this pump heavily despite it being advertised for occasional use because it works much better for me than the electric ones I've tried.I was very glad to find these rings. They work pretty much as well as the original, and I didn't have to replace the whole pump or buy an entire diaphragm assembly from Medela at 2/3 or more (!!!) of the cost of a whole new pump. If you rely on this pump, as I do, I recommend having these rings handy just in case.FYI, if you are in a real bind waiting for these rings to come (because I was looking for this sort of information when I was in a pinch), buy the PartsMasterPro #260 o-ring in the plumbing section of Home Depot. It will NOT work well, but it WILL work. The handle will pop off frequently, but it worked well enough for me to get through the several days until these Maymom rings arrived.In the photo, the Maymom ring is in the middle, the original broken ring is on the bottom, and the Home Depot ring is on top.

I personally think it’s silly that our hand pumps don’t come with all these extra parts and that we have to pay $7 to replace pieces that cost probably $.01. My opinion aside, these get the job done and fit perfectly.Pros: fit the Medela hand pump, easy to replace, stay on well, create a solid suctionCons: price for what you get, somewhat hard to clean because they’re so small
