I got this early February and started out with one in the early morning before breakfast. After about a week, I did notice some difficulty staying asleep so I cut back to taking it every other day. That seems to work best for me. As far as the neuro-effect... YAY! even my short term memory is back. I'm pulling names, events, words, and a host of other forgotten memories up in a nanosecond. I'm no longer going down to the basement and standing in front of the freezer wondering what I came down for. It's definitely worth a try. Two months and I give it an A+++.I read that it shouldn't be taken for more than three months but unsure how much this RXLIST.com site was referencing? I will monitor my use overtime and potentially reduce my dosing down to 2X/week, or less if needed. I'd be reluctant to quit it altogether but if there are negative side effects I will consider discontinuing it or using it more on an as needed basis. I learned about this stuff from several YouTube videos.

This stuff is no joke high octane brain jet fuel, but **do your research on it.** Do not take it more than 2 (maybe 3) times a week. It substantially increases acetylcholine, which can cause down regulation if you take it too frequently. I save it for intense writing and deep research/study days. Take at least a full week off every 4 weeks. Pairs extremely well with Uridine + CDP-Choline + Phosphatidylserine. Together they make a radical difference in focus, learning, and memory. The closest thing I’ve experienced to pharmaceuticals, if not better.

This seems to be an effective dose and I'm sure it works great for lots of people, but my personal experience has been horrible. Racing thoughts, dramatic mood swings for no reason, sleepless nights or when I did manage to fall asleep, the worst sleep paralysis experiences I've ever had. It had a very negative feel and impact overall, I couldn't focus on work because my thoughts were racing. I also learned that this will accumulate in your system so you should cycle it every few days. Well, it seemed to build up very quickly for me and the negative effects were felt for days after taking it. I seem to be extra sensitive to Huperzine A, this probably doesn't reflect how most people would respond. But I just wanted to leave this review as a word of caution, if you're trying it for the first time I have to recommend trying it on a weekend or a week off your daily schedule in case it effects you as negatively as it did for me. I was very frazzled but it resolved after about a week of discontinuing its use. I still left three stars because I'm sure the product is effective for most people and seems good quality
