Buyer beware
These lights look amazing on my childs bike! And she LOVES them. I can see her when the sun goes down early on these short October days. But these are an EPIC pain in the ass to install. Do not attempt to install without a glass of wine in hand (and bottle close by). Do not attempt to install with your children present. It will be difficult to hold back the profanity as you try to tediously wind the wire in and out of each tiny wheel spoke. Looking back, these were a solid investment, hence the 5 star rating. But I wouldn't feel I did my fellow parents any justice if I didn't at least warn them of the trauma that these lights will initially cause you.

5th time around. different build
this is lbeyond by 5th set. my first introduction to this type of product the light strings were incased in clear poly tube and had rubber stoppers at the beginning and one for you to insert after cutting to finish length. that build aapparently is much more durable than exposed wires and lights. I had two sets like that and they were functioning fine at the end of a year when I gifted the bike. the last several sets I have purchased have been troublesome. they all claim waterproof but advise not to diveeeper than a free dive. none of these recent sets are inside a poly hose. the hose is bulky and chunky like my last wife. I prefer the clean look with no poly but I think thier waterproof claims are quite a stretch. I had to return 3-4 sets that failed in less than 10 days. every time I purchased a set from a different vendor thst all appeared to be off the same production line. until...until this brand. only been installed for a couple of days but perhaps they are onto something. the battery pack that requires 3 triple A's is much smaller and compact. same tubular shape but stunk down by about 27.897%, give or take. and here is where true genious comes into play....the light strings have no poly hose housing but drum roll..somebody determined that water was the enemy. so each light has a dab of silicone sealing the transition where the wires enter the bulb ( for lack of better term) area. only time will tell but I suspect that 24, 789 engineers have studied the issue and finally somebody attempts to isolate the lights from water.

Look awesome, a pain to install
Just got these today and my daughter made me immediately install them. Her birthday is tomorrow though, so how could I say no? They look really cool and she absolutely loves them! However, I think my back may be broken after installing them. I thought it'd be easy at first, and the instructions were pretty well laid out. But then I got to the part where you have to wrap the strings over the spokes and realized this won't be as quick or easy as I'd hoped! I bought the 2 pack to do both my kids bikes but I started with my daughter first since I know she won't be as hard on her bike, so if I mess up they might still stay! I'm glad I did because I learned that I'll need to be much more careful of wrapping the actual light over the spoke to make sure it stays on securely. It's kind of a pain to align the lights with the spokes vs just the wire, so I hope my daughter's stays on ok. I'll try and do better with my son's bike tomorrow when my back recovers. No lights were burnt out, and they seem to be pretty good quality, so fingers crossed they all stay lit and last a long while after the difficulty I had putting them on. Edited to add: I wish I'd just bought the slightly more expensive brand. 3 of the lights have already burnt out on my daughter's bike! Disappointed. It's only been 4 days!

So fun, work great!
My kids love these! We go for evening bike rides around our neighborhood when it’s nearly dark this time of year. They love riding with these lights and I feel good knowing it makes them more visible to cars. They can strobe or stay constant, we prefer the constant option as it’s easier on the eyes. Took me about 10 minutes to install, wraps all the way around my daughters 16” tired and then I coil it around again on the inside so she has two layers of lights. I have had no issues with them working yet and have had them for a few weeks now with regular use.

Fun biking during night
* looks very cool while biking at night. I bike in my community sometimes at night and its very handy as some places do not have a street light.* Easy to install just follow the instructions. and take your time.* Comes with batteries for both lights.

Cool lights
These things were pretty easy to install on my little girl's bike. They're very bright and she absolutely loves them. I love the fact that I can see her from a mile away with these things on. They have two functions, blinking or solid on. I replaced the batteries that came with the package with some high quality Duracell "AA" batteries. I figured they'd last a lot longer meaning I wouldn't have to switch them out any time soon.

half of the product didn't work
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. We were super excited to use these for my son and one them (its a 2pk) did now work. He was so bummed. I like how it flashes so cars can catch it away. We even tried to change the batteries that it came with , with one of ours but nothing.I was only able to put one wheel on.The black park that goes onto the bike wheel is very hard to put on by myself. I needed my husband to help me.

update: One light stopped working less than 6 months/ was great until then
It was great until it stopped working. My kid used to gets lots of compliments. Now, we are trying to see if we can find a way to fix this (maybe there is loose wire somewhere and can be reconnected?). As you can see, only the green colored LED is lit on the front wheel, whereas Green/white/blue/pink(red?) LED on the back wheel are all working. This was great until very recent, but now very disappointed that this did not last even a year. So, we have to downgrade the star from FIVE to Two.
