We have a 2008 toy hauler, fits and works perfectly

My tap water was at 120ppm, I added a 3 stage and it went up to 140ppm, then I added this filter after the 3 stage and it dropped right down to 97ppm. The 3 stage still gave an odd water soaked in cardboard taste, but the chlorine scent was gone. After adding this carbon filter the water tastes great and looks somewhat bottled spring water-ish. Well worth every penny. Very happy with this purchase. I mainly used the side water spicket for the K-cup machine next to the sink, but now with the improved taste and smell, I'll be relying on it more for drinking water as well. This was very very easy to install within minutes, snipped the hose with scissors, popped the lines into the filter, let it run for 5 minutes to clear out the air and small carbon residue.... done. I hardly noticed any change in water pressure.

The media could not be loaded. First impressions were not good as it didn't come with any plugs on its end connectors or did it have any plastic wrap. But I put it into use anyway starting with flushing. A lot of black carbon was released which indicated it was indeed brand new. After seating up its connections which were easy and leak free with a push and pull motion, a clean filtered taste was noticeable. I use this as a prefilter for a more expensive inline filter and it is doing this job well and as intended. I got this item for under $10 so I still consider it a good value. I had to remove a star for the lack of packaging (plugs or wrapping) and so gets a solid four-star recommendation.

I needed a new pre-filter for my refrigerator so I purchased two of these after initial flushing, which I recommend you can do into a bucket before you connect to the refrigerator because it is black carbon comes out for the 1st gallon of water. No need to pump it through your refrigerator to clear itMy ice cubes are now almost see-through so I am sure the filters are doing their job and I like that their biodegradable coconut carbonUsing it to filter water before my refrigerator filter makes those expensive refrigerator filters Cartridges last longer. You can Reset your timer on the refrigerator to replace filter two or three times before ice cube start getting cloudy and you have to dispose Of the refrigerator cartridge filter I replaced this filter once a year
