Eyeglass Frame Grips, Hinge Tighteners - 4mm Inside Diameter, 48 Rings in Each Package

For some reason, the style of my eyeglasses the temples were wider than my head. I went to the eye glass provider, and they tried the "heating and bending" and just didn't work. I love the glasses, so I ordered these. They simple slip down the temple and over the hinge causing a tighter fit. Works great!

Since I both my eyes required cataract surgery, I now need 'reading' glasses - not only for reading, but for anything I need to be able to focus on close-up. So I use lanyard on all my reading glasses, so they are always around my neck.The problem was the lanyard were easily pulled off the temples and the rubber attachments do not hold the lanyard on tight/securelyI read somewhere (internet) to get small rubber o-rings, place on on each side of the 'temple buckle' to hold them in placeSUCCESS!!!These are the right size! It takes a bit of 'manual dexterity' to get them on the temples, but once on. . . no more lanyard mishaps!

Worked ok to tighten loose sunglasses. I had to use 2 to tighten. Putting your sunglasses on your head loosens them. O

I purchased new eyeglasses every year and my measurements are always spot on but this year I ordered a pair and they just fit way too big. I had them adjusted and bent at the optometrist and they never fit quite right still they were very wide. I was looking for a solution and this is definitely it. I didn’t even know something like this existed, but I am so glad that it did because now I can wear my cute glasses without them, falling off of my face when I look down, they are so easy to slide on to the and just fit perfectly there . The glasses can still close and open just as normal, but they just fit so much better. Such a great buy so that I can wear my expensive glasses with this little inexpensive fix.

I purchase these mainly for my sunglasses. When I am outside I am more active than using my readers inside and I want a tighter fit. The problem is that the arms on my sunglasses grow wider the closer to the hinge you get and trying to get the 4 mm o ring into the hinge is a real struggle. If I could find a 5 or 6 mm ring it would make my life easier because as pointed out, they don't last all that long. To that end I usually mount four on each of the arms so when one breaks I can slide the next one on in as little as 30-45 seconds because they are so tight.
