Drains well, frees up space in the cabinet below.
Great sink! It drains well when installed level, and the sound dampening panels work very well, even when using a high power sprayer. The tight radius corners look good, but are still easy to clean, unlike squared corners. The offset drain has been great. It's easier to rinse particles down the drain, because we don't end up "chasing" them around a centered drain with the sprayer--just sweep the opposite side of the sink a couple of times, and any particles run to the drain on their own. It also frees up a lot of cabinet space underneath, and doesn't divide that space down the center, unlike a center-mounted drain.Update after 6 months: We still love it. We've never seen a rust spot in this. Minor scratches, as to be expected in a metal sink without using an ugly metal grid. It's still very easy to keep clean. Added pictures--the one taken from above shows it at 6 months of use. Edit: the picture of the sink without the faucets visible was taken after 2 years of use. Still no complaints whatsoever. We have left metal pots in the sink overnight and have never seen any stains or signs of rust.

Read if you see RED (aka rust!)
I normally don't post reviews, but thought this time it was warranted. We got our big, beautiful sink quickly and installed it yesterday with our new counters. I much prefer the function and size of a single bowl sink to the double it replaced. The offset drain is easily accessed when there are dishes in the sink, and it allowed us to keep our plumbing and garbage disposal where they were. It also allows for more useful storage under the sink. However, being somewhat flat on the bottom, water does pool a little. I like the modern look of the sink, but the slightly rounded interior corners are much easier to clean than the squared, sharper corners of our last sink. OK- here is the important part of the review:I was HUGELY disappointed to find the bottom of the sink covered in tiny pinpoint rust spots the morning after installation. I contacted the seller and Elkay with steam coming out of my ears! They both emailed/called me back immediately. Elkay customer service explained that the "rust" was not from the sink itself, but rather from bits of manufacturing dust/debris left in the sink. The flatter bottom of this particular sink contributes to the issue because water puddles do sit. They instructed me not to use steel wool or any sort of bleach products (which I don't), and scrub with a gentle powder cleanser and soft Scotchbrite type sponge. They also recommended drying the sink every evening or as often as I'd like. I did all of that and the spots were removed. They said it should get better over time. I hate the hassle, and wish copper would "go" with our new home (that was my MOST favorite sink material EVER!), but since I was going for a "look" along with function at a reasonable price point, this Elkay sink fits the bill. Plus, after the very positive interaction I just had with customer service, I am quite happy with this purchase.

Not great quality!
We purchased this sink after reading the reviews and wanting a sink with an offset drain to the right. I will say our behaviors have not changed with how we use the sink. We are a family of 5 with young kids. Dishes, cups, and pans do sit in the sink overnight or for a period of time. In the 3 weeks we have used the new sink, the sink is severely scratched up. It also has had rust marks from pans sitting for a few hours. We have used CLR 3x now in the weeks to remove the rust marks. The previous stainless sink never had rust marks, nor did it have the scratches this sink has in such a short period of time. In addition, the sink makes a popping noise when nothing is in it and we turn the water on - sounds like there is movement in the bottom of the sink when the water hits it - just sounds/feels flimsy. Overall, I am extremely disappointed in the quality of the sink. We have purchased a bottom grid in hopes of limiting the scratches and rust - I hope it helps. If you are looking for an offset sink, you may want to look at something else.

Depends on what you expect from a sink
I expect a sink to drain. That's not an unreasonable expectation, is it? The word "sink," after all, means to fall or drop to a lower level, to below. With a kitchen sink, "below" would mean a drain or a garbage disposal. Right? Well, this sink doesn't sink. It doesn't drain. Water hangs about at the bottom of it, along with food scraps that end up sticking to the surface of the sink. (Beware of using the scrubby side of your dish sponge when you clean. It scratched the surface of my sink, impeding the movement of water and food even more so.) I'm using more water than ever trying to coax the water in the bottom of the sink over to and down the drain to the garbage disposal. I've become a sink-water wrangler. And, yes, the sink is installed correctly, perfectly level. This Elkay is another of too many cases of an engineer designing a product that the engineer apparently doesn't use, because if the engineer did use this product, the engineer would know that the product has a major flaw. It would have been nice if the designer of this particular sink had given consideration to the function of a sink rather than just its appearance. Oh, it's nice looking--after you've physically wrangled the loitering water and food out of the bottom and down the drain where it should have sauntered off by itself.

Nice sink!
We just recently got the sink installed under our new granite countertop. The sink looks fabulous. We chose it because we have one like it in our Florida home. This sink has an offset drain that was needed because of the plumbing layout beneath the sink; a necessary option for us. The sink is very durable, has good insulating materiel on the underside, and fits our needs. The price was fair and shipping was quick. The box was slightly damaged on arrival but the packing inside protected the sink just fine. We also purchased a wire basin for the sink to protect it from direct contact with something dropped. The sink is easy to clean but like any stainless steel sink you need to avoid abrasives during cleaning or you'll end up with a scratched finish. We use dishwashing liquid with a soft sponge followed by a Clorox wipe. Very satisfied with the purchase, again. We recommend!

Great sink
Great sink. I got this on sale and was the best purchase of my entire kitchen Reno. Forget about double sinks. You need one large on. with a drain placement off to the side so when you are doing dishes the plates do not cover the drain, preventing the water from draining out. AMAZING product. Make sure you listen to the instructions and clean weekly for it to always look like new.

Nice Sink!
Great sink and the off-set drain is a great option to keep your garb-orator to one side of your sink cabinet. We were able to partition off the base cabinet into two sides with pull out drawers on our left and all of the mechanicals on the right.
