Redragon M913 Impact Elite Wireless Gaming Mouse, 16000 DPI Wired/Wireless RGB Gamer Mouse with 16 Programmable Buttons, 45 Hr Battery and Pro Optical Sensor, 12 Side Buttons MMO Mouse

I bought this to replace an aging mouse which cost 4 times the price from a well known 'gamer' brand.The key feature which caught my eye was the extra little button over the Left Mouse button and that's a game-changer in itself (every mouse should have it!).Quality is top notch. I use this for 10hrs+ every day (and have done for a year) and have had 0 issues.The weighting in hand (with the added benefit of being able to change it with the provided weights to your own taste) is perfect.The side-buttons for MMO style actions took some getting used to as they are decidedly stiffer than the same buttons on the mouse this replaced but once the initial 'getting used to it' period was over the experience is overall better as the stiffer keys stopped 'accidental presses' which was a big problem with the mouse this replaced.The software is good. Not the most intuitive but not a massive learning curve. The big benefit of the software is that it actually 'flashes' up to 5 different profiles into some onboard memory on the mouse so you simply start it up, configure the mouse as you want then shut it down. It doesn't need to sit in memory like many other manufacturers software does. You can uninstall it completely and your profiles are fine as they're stored in the mouse itself.I noticed one of the reviews said the software did weird things to their system. I have installed, uninstalled and re-installed dozens this software dozens, if not hundreds of times on 3 different PCs over the last year and a half and have found no issues whatsoever.Overall this product just hits every mark. I genuinely believe it's a better MMO/FPS hybrid mouse than any of the big brands at 3-4 times the price. So convinced am I that I actually bought 2 more of them so that I will have spares for when this one fails (although circa 5500 hours usage on my first one and no issues)If I love this product so much why haven't I given it 5 stars across the board you may ask? Well I give a 4 for accuracy. Not of the mouse itself but of the advertising/placement here on Amazon which seems to suggest that the M913 is the wireless equivalent of the M908. It most assuredly *is not*.As good as this mouse is, the M913 is awful. See my 'sister' review for that one before buying. Short summary: While it shares much in common, the M913 is not the wireless version of this mouse - Ergonomically it doesn't have the weight (or extra weights) etc.RedDragon: Please! Give us a like-for-like wireless equivalent to this mouse with decent wireless signal! (see M913 review). I'll buy at least 3 :D

I bought this item exactly 2 months ago.The first thing I noticed is that its a lot smoother than any other mouse I've used. its got 15000 dpi, which is probably an order of magnitude over my Anker vertical mouse £16.99, which I was using hence, and maybe another order of magnitude over the other mice I've used over the years. DPI is real. It's buttery smooth. They have another mouse which has 25000 DPI, but not as many buttons, I think.Anyway. It looks like it belongs in the Bat Cave. No joke. Someone said it looks like the Bat-Mobile, but it's definitely a mouse. It's not the mouse Bruce way uses in Wayne manner, but when he is in the Bat Cave, wearing the suit and the cowl, casually scrolling Amazon reviews, he probably came across this mouse and wondered if he should carry on designing the next iteration of the Bat-Mouse, or just order the Redragon M913 and paste over the dragon with the Bat-Sign. Maybe He could just use some kind ok Ink to finesse the Dragons edges to make it look more like a Bat in profile.And to answer your question Wayne, yes, yes you should. I mean as a backup at least, while you're re jigging Bat-Mouse 4.12 stable LTSSo it looks great to me. Reminds of the 80's. The Redragon Logo? Yes, it's totally Bruce Lee. It's authentic Chinese culture, and it's probably made in China, so there is an authenticity in the verticality contained withing the production and the branding. When I think about it though, that's not the place for a dragon logo. I'm suffocating it every time I use the mouse.Anyway. The next amazing thing you notice is that it's more comfortable than the Anker vertical mouse. It has as place for all your fingers, and there is no carpel tunnel on the outside two fingers, which I got a lot of using standard mice. Even the Anker has a little of this in the wrist I think. The Anker is much better than standard mice, but I think it goes a little too vertical, or, I think the range in which your wrist feels comfortable it much less than in the M913. If they ever iterate on this mouse, I say make the outer two finger trays even wider a little.I mean, if you are worried about wrist pain, and you wanted an ergonomic mouse, I would highly recommend this above the Anker. Obviously it's 3 times the price, however, you also get the higher Dpi, and the lights, and the buttons, etc.But they are all children of the Profiles. You get 2 profiles. And there is a button on the bottom that can switch between them. I really should see if I can use 1 of the mouse buttons to do that, because it is kind of inconvenient. But you have 2 profiles, and you can set the lighting to be different on each profile, so you know which profile you are on. It's a little bit annoying, the placement, and if you wanna switch between using Your general, internet, and Youtube browsing, and another specific software such as, say, Blender, or Godot , or Gimp, or, errm, Bat-Cave-Lights, or whatever, then you have to press this "not the easiest to press" button , on the underside of the mouse. It's not a big deal. But hey, you want details. It's an expensive mouse.To add to the minor annoyances, this is the only other one, and it is that when scrolling over a surface like a mattress with no sheet, which is slightly worn; the On/Off/Eco switch slightly catches on the threads. on my mattress. Obviously, with a sheet, it's fine. And who would use a mattress without a sheet? It's just an insanely niche thing. Probably there is only one person in the world right now with this niggle. But hey, if you do have an uneven surface with loose threads, the switch can catch a little. Maybe there's one other person out there who does this. This one is for you. Still buy the mouse, because it's amazing, just use a mouse pad, or a bed sheet. This is a you problem.Anyway. We come to the real reason you want this mouse. You want the buttons. Yes, it works. They are not as easy to press as keyboard keys, so I tend to use my left hand on a mechanical keyboard for shortcut keys. I tried using Blender, and mapping those keys over to one profile, and am using the other profile for Youtube.The Blender profile largely goes unused, because the keys are kinda small, and there's a certain clumsiness to hitting them reliably. The bottom front keys 1 and 4 are easy to press. The middle row is more difficult because my thumb is twice the width of the keys. And then the top row is slightly easier than the middle but not as great as the bottom row. The bottom row is the best row, and for now I have my YouTube forward 5 seconds and back 5 seconds mapped to it. I mean to switch this to 10 seconds.So buttons 1/4 = Youtube forward backbutton 7/10 = playback speed. This has like a half second delay, but OK.button 3/6 = Up/Down = volume up down in Netflix/Youtube/etcAnd then I bought the Newmen Mehcanical keyboards and stopped experimenting with the buttons. However, I can see how soemone can use this keyboard quite succesfully with Gaming, or for 2d/3d art, for switchign between brush, pencil, fill. I just feel it's better suited for lazy people like me who want to drick coffee in the left hand and just want to idly click buttons to browse videos one-handed, and that's basically you isn't it? isn't it? And it does it's job great. I don't need to reach for the keyboard. I don't need to find that up down left right key. It's right here in my hand, which is active browsing and clicking anyway. It's a good thing. Trust me. it's enough that it does this. And if you want more function, then you have so many other keys to make whatever unique system you want.The battery is not as good as your old mouse battery. It's probably a function of the Dpi. The Dpi is giving you the buttery smoothness, and it is worth it. So I have no gripe about charging every so often. It's way more accurate than any other mouse, and that takes energy even in eco mode, with the lights off, I'm guessing. But I have to give it 4 stars for you to take the review seriously, and not consider me a fanboy.It's a great mouse. It gives you what it promises. It looks great. It's 5 stars from me.
