Solid Leather GoodsMen's Belt - Full Grain Heavy Duty Leather Belts for Men

I was looking for a good quality men's leather belt that should last for years, not a couple of months or even less. I've wasted money, trouble and effort on name brands like Columbia and others that fell apart fast.So this time I looked at the Amazon search results for "men's leather belts" by scrolling down to the customers reviews to find the pick of the litter-Solid Leather Goods Men's Belt"!This worked as I'm satisfied with a fine product that I waited a couple of months before reviewing. It cost a little more than the average belt, but in this case I got what I paid for! It was also a pleasant surprise to find out it was made in hapless UKRAINE of all places in the news, Not China.I hope the company survives because this was a gem in the rough!

Excellent quality. Is a very exact size range, so get the next size up if you like your belt end to go farther past the first loop.

I am more than happy to give this belt 5 stars! From the moment I opened this package I was lavished with quality. The belt came packaged in a stylist cylindrical tin. I don't buy belts too often but I usually buy them off the rack from a brick and mortar store and usually the're just on a little hook. This belt came wrapped in form fitting plastic and coiled inside the tin. They took great care to preserve the beauty of the fine, smooth finish on the belt. The buckle was also wrapped, you can feel the quality as the buckle had some weight to it. The finish was smooth and satin without any signs of blemish or imperfection. The whole belt gave me a sense of 'stoutness' strong and durable yet handsomely styled. I put off buying a new belt for a long long time due to my revolving weight manifestation. I could never decide what size to get, who knew what size I was going to be in the next three months. What another thing I love about this belt, the makers knew exactly what I was concerned about...they provided instructions and provided a cutting tool to add more belt buckle holes should you lose weight. So now IF my waist gets smaller, I can shorten my belt and still make it look like I bought it that way! Thank you guys for adding those little extras, they go a long way. If anything, it let's me know you guys care about your consumers! I will definently buy from you again and I will highly recommend you to all of my friends and family. Well done!

I would be rating their belts just as highly without the free gift!)I've had my belts (brown and black) for about 4 months now and I have been pleasantly surprised how well they are holding up. I used to buy whatever cheapest leather belt I could find at a department store, and they would end up looking pretty shaggy about a half year in. I decided to grab two of these based on the solid reviews here and I have found these belts to be a great value. The leather seems thin, but it has held up remarkably well and hasn't cracked or scuffed up. I'm able to wear them with jeans or a suit, though the 1.375" width is pushing it for some of my belt loops. I also purchased a $100+ belt from another brand, thinking I would have to pay for quality, and I have found myself wearing the SLG belts way more often. One minor potential annoyance for some people: the belt includes an unattached loop to help keep the end of the belt strapped in. I sometimes find this falling off (e.g. when I take the belt off) and have to chase it as it rolls away from me. Not a big deal as I've trained myself to be aware of this, but I could see how some people find this annoying. Besides that, I highly recommend these belts!

Unlike conventional belts which may turn out to be significantly larger than your waist size, this belt's length can be shortened by at least 6 inches with no way to tell that such a modification has been made. This belt is designed to allow the user to remove the buckle, cut the belt to the proper length (assuming, of course, it was found to be too long) and subsequently re-attach the buckle. They provide a special tool to punch the leather so that when you're done no one will know the belt was too long when you started. This is truly a well-made and well-designed belt; one that should last a very long time.

Originally ordered this belt for our son to wear since the metal in standard buckles causes a rash on his stomach. He's been wearing it several weeks now and it seems to be just what he needed. I'm so used to my old leather belts that the new leather in this belt seems a little peculiar, but it is 100% leather and not layered or split in any way. With a little use it will probably be just like my old belts and become as highly regarded as an old pair of comfortable shoes. Came with a small punch and fastener in case the length needed shortening. No need for that but it's a nice option to be included. I'd certainly order another one of these, if needed, but for now it's just a matter of seeing how well it wears and lasts.*FYI - The company selling this belt just sent us another one in exchange for written review. I still think highly of this belt and appreciate the company getting behind their product in such a way. Everything I wrote before still applies. Time almost always tells.

The belt fit well, was wide enough to support carrying cell phone and outside the wasteband pistol holster without issue. Only reason it wasn't given 5 stars is because it's a little to flexible making it hard to push through belt loops. You have to line it up just so right so it slides through. Over time you get used to the flexing part and don't even notice. There is some slight impression/deformation where the buckle presses into the belt but that's to be expected as I pull it pretty tight. Overall a great belt. Oh, I waited a full year to write this review, it's still in very good shape and I wear it every day. The pictures are after 1 year.

What can I say except that I have 4 of these, in black and brown, and they are what I wear with my jeans. It is an excellent quality belt. Made in Ukraine!

I'm pretty picky about leather belts. Most are "100% leather" or "solid leather", meaning they are technically made of leather but not actually leather. Think about how hard it is to tear a thick steak in half, and how easy it is to tear a thick hamburger in half. They're both 100% beef. So the term you want is "full grain" leather, meaning it's all of the layers of the animal hide, and will last a long time. Don't be fooled by brand names - even the better names are lowest quality that will wear out fast. This belt is full grain leather that's been properly tanned so it's flexible. Very nice. Once I bought the black one, I bought the brown one too. One other thing: I've spent $50+ on "designer" belts at mens clothing stores that turned out to be be "100% leather" and looked worn after just a few wearings . These belts are a bargain at $35.

leather belt is of good quality but the size guide was incorrect with the result that I have to punch a couple of holes in the belt because the belt is too large.

A diferencia de otras marcas, SLG me gustó, por la calidad con que realizan los cinturones, el precio me parece aceptable; en comparación con otras marcas, la calidad es mejor, considerando la misma inversión.

Belts are ok, feel well made , but I’ve bought 2 of these and gotten the wrong size both timeshare
