We have been using this undersink cartridge for many years now. My husband always used to take care of purchasing it and installing it. Because he now has dementia, I handle it, so I can vouch for the ease of installation. Having never used a different cartridge, I can't offer a comparison; but I can say I'm happy with this one. The water tastes as fresh as one could hope for.

We are RV'ers and use a "whole house" filtration system which is very good with variable water quality we can encounter when traveling. For cooking, drinking and making ice cubes we like the assurance of "extra well-filtered" water. This 3M AquaPure system does that. With a water dispenser mounted on the sink, it is very convenient. The filter is mounted directly under the sink. Note that the filter is actually NSF (National Sanitary Foundation) listed - not just "meets the standards", as "replacement brands" often state -- not actually tested. If you care about the quality of water that you drink, this is the one for you.

I have been using this water filtration system for six years. Although the filter element needs to be replaced every six months, this is only a recommended replacement time. You can decide whether to replace it or not based on the amount of water output. My filter element started to produce water slowly after a year of use, so I changed it first. Replace the filter element once a year, which is considered very durable. It can filter impurities. After using the water pot for many years, there is no rust or residue on the bottom of the pot. It’s good.

Good filter. Installation was easy enough and had no problems with leaks as others have reported. Just make sure the plastic tubing is completely inserted into the fitting! Adapter to angle stop/riser did may not be right for your plumbing, but your local hardware store should be able to put together the right parts for you as long as you are reasonably handy. Water quality is very good. Filter replacement is quite pricey but still only about 8 cents a gallon.

I'm so impressed by how good the water tastes that comes out of this filter. We have terrible tasting municipal water, and this filter makes it taste as good or better than many RO filters I have tried. The provided parts were not compatible with my faucet, but I was able to pic up parts at my local Ace to correct that for under $10. I found the installation pretty easy. I consider myself a novice when it comes to this sort of work. The faucet itself looks great installed, and feels very sturdy. I'm also impressed with how fast the water comes out of the faucet. I read a lot of fileter reviews. I'm so happy I decided to go with this one!

This replaced an undersink water filter cartridge that is no longer manufactured for our 2015 Winnebago Itasca Sunstar 35F. It fit perfectly and works well.

There should be more done to improve the packaging. It often comes with the 3M packaging in less than new condition, frayed, torn edges & basically disheveled. Doesn't exactly inspire confidence in the authenticity of the product, and with no way of verifying this fact, makes for a very nervous, albeit grateful that's it's still being made, consumer. 3M needs to step up. Amazon should do its due diligence to reassure the consumer that the origins of these products are legitimate and authentic too.
