Great product!
Love the fragrance, love the effect on hair and scalp. Calms and heals scalp eczema and leaves hair shiny and soft. I alternate the Paul M leave-in tea tree lavender/peppermint conditioner with the rinse out conditioner in the same fragrance. Excellent line of products not cheap, but a little goes a long way. Totally worth it!

MY HAIR LOOKS BETTER THAN EVER!
I used to use cheap shampoo, and my hair always looked dry. I'm a guy, so like most guys, I didn't care. One day, after my old barber retire (during covid), I was at my new hair cutter. The lady that was cutting my hair and I were talking during my haircut. I had told her a used to have a job that required a hard hat, and my hair had begun thinning on top. I told her that I used a certain shampoo because it's got 5 vitamins and minerals, and she laughed. She said I needed something that moisturizes. After trying a few different shampoos, I remembered hearing that Paul Mitchell (John Paul Degioria) was good. So I tried this one, and my hair looks and feels so much better! I've usually always shampooed daily, so I never had a problem with dandruff, but my hair was dry looking. Now, my hair looks RICH! It's really the best way to put it. It's become golden (I'm a blond) again, and it looks fuller on top! My scalp even feels better and healthier! Now, when I use it, I lather it up and let it sit there for a minute or two before I wash it out....something I've never done before, so that may help, too. But I just believe that this is a great, quality product, and it smells great, too! The only drawback is the price. It's not cheap, but great products seldom are. I've finally gotten to the age (52) where i started thinking, let me me do good things for my body regardless of the price, and my hair is thanking me for it!

Love this shampoo!
I debated about writing a review for shampoo. It's really such a personal product and everyone's hair and taste is so individual, but I'm so happy with this shampoo it seemed worthwhile to post a review anyway. I have no 'beauty' expertise to describe it--I just know that when I first started using the product it agreed with my hair. My hair is fine and starting to go a little gray. It also has a tendency to frizz out a bit and has gotten dry where I'm living. With this shampoo (and conditioner, but I haven't bought that on Amazon just yet, so no review) my hair has been improving. The shampoo can't help the fineness, or my inherent lack of style, but it does seem to help the texture! I also Really Like the scent. I have developed a fondness for lavender and it has a great scent. Not overpowering or overwhelming, but a definite aroma to it that I like. Of course, this is definitely a place where personal preference comes in, in contrast I generally don't like the vanillas or coconut type scents on me. I bought on Amazon for the costs--I am in a more remote place and the local shop won't special order it which meant online purchasing. Amazon had the best price and the arrival was in a reasonable reasonable time frame. I have an FPO address but the seller does not ship FPO so I had to use a re-shipper. (However, this is universal for things like shampoo so oh well). The product itself is worth the 5 stars, so the extra shipping was worth it. JTG 12/18/11 edited to add: I've been a little more educated recently about shampoo ingredients...this one does contain (as of my last bottle purchased) Ammonia Laurel Sulfate...apparently not the worst of the sulfates but if you are trying to go sulfate free this is not quite there. I only really thought about it because of a recent online discussion I've been reading plus I have moved to where the water is quite different and instead of frizzy I now have much more limp hair--so I'm looking for change.

Bought by mistake
Standard for all my reviews: When reviewing products, I always remain objective and honest about the product or service. I always review with information that I feel others would like to know about the product as I always assume what I'm writing will influence for or against the purchase. I always try to go above and beyond surface characteristics and input into quality, value and application. Most importantly, I will always end the review with an answer as to whether I'd purchase the product again which I believe is the most critical question pertaining to the item. To manufacturers: Want me to review your items, just let me know! I meant to purchase the standard Paul Mitchell Tea Tree shampoo with the regular scent and accidentally purchased the Lavender Mint. It's an expensive product but my wife and I love the Paul Mitchell shampoo and are willing to spend extra to get it. As far as this scent, I'm not crazy about it. Additionally, it doesn't seem to be as concentrated as the other PM shampoo we usually buy. With our standard Tea Tree PM shampoo, a very little goes a long way and this one takes about twice as much in my estimation to get the same coverage. I like this one well enough and we'll finish it up but the scent isn't my favorite and the concentration seems different. It doesn't leave my scalp with that tingly-cool feeling like the other PM shampoo does. It's fine as a shampoo but not one I'll be purchasing again.

Works on fine hair!
Love this shampoo. I have fine hair so I wasn’t sure if this would be the best fit. It does make my hair a little knotty but I use the tea tree lavender mint conditioner and brush it through. I feel like this is the only shampoo/ conditioner that makes my hair feel truly clean, and I also feel like it gives me some volume, like it makes the strands feel thicker but not weighed down and gross feeling. It’s definitely expensive for me, but worth the investment if I get the bigger size. The first one that came was defective but I contacted customer service and they sent me a new one right away.
