Concepts for Nursing Practice (with Access on VitalSource)

Brand New with plastic cover. It has access code, so if you want to read it as an e-book, I think you can download it at Evolve.Elsevier, which will lead you to VitalSource Bookshelf. The book isn't that heavy due to being paperback instead of hardcover.The pictures in the book are so helpful in learning and reading isn't that overwhelming even though there are many topics/concepts because the topics are so organized. It's definitely not cluttered like the Mosby books if I would say.I want to mention that each chapter is like 10 pages long, so it's very quick to read, which is something that I didn't experience in the e-book. For some reason, I take the whole day to read one chapter of the e-book version, but with the paperback version, I can read one chapter and be done with it before I even know it.The Case Studies in the book are helpful with critical thinking, which you can apply to everyday life besides nursing.Something I didn't like was that there is limited space to put my sticky notes. I'm one to write on sticky notes and stick it somewhere near the topic I'm writing about because that's just my way instead of writing on the pages themselves. I wanted to put my sticky notes on pages where there are no drawings/pictures or words that would be covered by the sticky notes, so I ended up sticking them on the reference pages at the end of each chapter and then just writing the pages/paragraphs of where that sticky note relates to.

Good book, came wrapped perfectly, not bent at all but for some reason as soon as I pulled the wrap off the book revealed a rip in cover. Not a big deal the rest is in great condition and I am just going to take the cover to keep it intact

Worried about the print size for reading. I will update review as semester progresses

Some of the chapters are so hard to read. I read a lot of textbooks and th concepts are not new to me, but when I was reading this book, I thought to myself, wow I can't understand any of this.
