Then this remote is a must have. This thing has a built-in battery so digging around for AA or AAA batteries is a thing of the past. Just dock the remote and it charges. The color screen is bright and easily read. You can customize your favorite channels and make watching TV effortless. Activities and remote programming is easy to setup. The Harmony App can do what the remote can do if you are feeling lazy or want to get the TV going before getting to the living room. Works with Roku, AppleTV and much more. If Harmony doesn't know your device, it can learn it.This is the remote to buy.

Cradle charger does not work. Not sure how good of a refurb this is. It is missing a charging pin. Not very thorough.

This remote makes my previous Harmony seem like a dinosaur. The ability of it to "fix" any problems with very little user input is impressive. I really like having the channel icons for when people are staying with us who don't know the local channel numbers. Handles all my media playing through my XBOX One like a champ. As always with Harmony the set up is quite simple.

While it's not easy to set up, it can be done. Problem I'm having is getting it to respond correctly. Won't select channels even know adjusted and programmed correctly. Not responsive to Direct TV Genie remote box. Works Denon and TV correctly but very bad IR response otherwise. Right in front of box too! Everyone in the house has given up on it. I can make it work with 3 or 4 trys for commands like pause, rewind or changing to specific channels with number command or even pre programmed channels but we simply use it to turn on and off all devices and then go right back to the directv remote for watching. Real Bummer! I have the RF version in the house as well and that one works better but this one won't learn the TV off command for the brand TV I have in that room. I taught it to it and it accepts the command but instead goes to a Smart TV menu screen instead of turning the tv off. Again a real bummer that has us in the position to using 2 remotes in that room as well. Tried all support methods they have as I really want this to work but even know I'm very technical, it just won't work. I've shared the issue but no response. Hoping for a software up date to support my Hisense 65 inch TV for that one. Don't buy until you see these things working. Also, bought the referb units the first time and had to send them back. Bought new in replacement but still have the above named annoying issues. Not a 1 remote system but instead 2.

It worked fine but I guess "Refurbished" means that it was a return so they threw it in a box with some bubble wrap, didn't inspect or "refurbish" this device at all, and still deem it ready to ship to the next customer.The remote came programmed to another person's Logitech account so I had to wipe that first. The official box and instructions were missing. One of the power supplies has a broken tip so I'm having to use an old iPhone charger with a spare micro USB cable to charge the remote (hope the voltage difference doesn't kill the battery prematurely).The benefit though is no visible electronics which I feel is well worth the couple hours of troubleshooting and searching that I had to do to get it working. I work in tech so the learning/researching/setup process wasn't that bad for me.

This was Amazon Renewed.Amazon sent me the wrong cable for connecting the remote to my PC. The plug at the remote end was too big and would not fit. It was clearly a cable designed for some other purpose.The cables came with a HELP LINE phone number. I tried it and it did not work. Its a dead line.Amazon told me to contact the vendor. And then the vendor pushed me back to Amazon.Amazon Customer Service identified the correct cable needed, but told me I had to buy it and ask for a refund afterwards.From this experience I do not recommend buying AMAZON RENEWED in future.
