Carhartt Men's Loose Fit Washed Duck Utility Work Pant

Bought these for my son after he kept ripping pants at work. These have held up great and he loves the fit!

I'm so glad I discovered these comfy and TOUGH Carhartt work pants. I've given up on most brands. All the details dial right in, zippers, pockets, the ability to bend over easily, it's all here. I've set aside one set of these pants to keep pristine, and a second set to wear hard, come what may. I don't know why my favorite colors 1-Chocolate Brown, and 2-Midnight go out of stock so quickly, both in their own retail stores and on Amazon. (?) At least 3-an excellent dark Black tends to stay in stock, always. I would love to buy the color 4-Dark Forest Green. Please spare me the tiresome colors Khaki, Olive, camouflage, and anything pastel, for all time. These garments are made with love; they are sublime.

Listen. I put on these Carhartt pants and instantly understood what it feels like to be a man named Hank who can fix a carburetor with one hand while grilling a steak with the other. The second the fabric touched my skin, I swear I heard a distant chainsaw rev and a bald eagle screeched somewhere in the sky. These pants have me walking around like I’m on an episode of “Alaska: The Last Frontier” even though I’m literally just going to Walgreens. The pockets?? I could fit: • my phone • my wallet • three emotional support snacks • a small child • and the burden of all my responsibilities …in ONE pocket. Women’s pants could NEVER. Since buying these, I have: • chopped wood I didn’t need to chop • stared down a bear (it ran first) • fixed a tractor I do not own • become the main character of every Home Depot commercial • felt spiritually connected to the forest • achieved inner peace They’re warm in the winter, cool in the summer, and somehow make me feel like I could fistfight Mother Nature and win. Do they give me a tiny-waist, rectangle-hips vibe? Sure. But do I look UNSTOPPABLE? Absolutely. 10/10. Would recommend to anyone who wants to feel invincible, mysterious, mildly dangerous, and capable of surviving the apocalypse with nothing but these pants and a multitool.

I have mixed feelings about these pants. The quality is excellent. The material is fairly heavy duty. I haven't worn any holes or torn anything. I like the tool pockets. They allow me to carry tools, cell phone, multitool, etc... However, you can only get these in loose fit. So, while the waist is fitting right, everything below is loose. What is holding your pants up is only the waist. My waist is smaller than my hips and I also wear a belt, so the waist rubs somewhat on my hips. And I don't like baggy pants. Hey Carharrt, at least give us the option of a relaxed fit.

These are perfect for my son for his job. Very durable and they wash and wear nicely. They fit nicely too.

I have 5 pairs of this exact pant. They lasted 5 years before they started to develop holes in the knees. They got a lot of abuse from laying tile, cutting trim on a mitre saw on the ground, or crawling under a house. Once they got holes in the knees I had to get some new ones. Besides being unsightly in public they also make putting on your pants a problem as your big toe will likely want to stick out the hole as you put them on also making the hole want to slowly rip larger as well. When using a chainsaw the wood chips will also tend to enter thru the holes and make your socks and shoes full of chips. I checked the tags in my old pair which led me to these. B11 is the pant style. I did notice that my old tags from pants purchased 5-7 years ago said "Made in Nicaragua from Materials Sourced in the USA". These new pants say "Made in Nicaragua from Foreign Materials". Oh well. They still seem like the same tough, thick fabric. I particularly like this color, Desert, as after 5 years of weekly washings they faded to a still nice lighter version of themselves. Putting these new pair side by side with my old showed just how much the color has changed, but instead of your normal "oh, this had faded look, I though, Oh this has lightened in color". The other darker colors of this pant after so many washings look like they are fading. I almost prefer the lighter color. Overall I have been very happy with these pants and am very glad to own new pairs free of holes, paint, and threads at the bottoms. Well it's time to get back to work! 5 Stars Easy. Fit was as expected.

I purchased these Carhartt Men's Loose fit utility work pants for my son because he cannot find his size in the stores. These are his favorite work pants. Will definitely buy more.

I had to order 2” bigger waist in order for the pants to fit. Other than that they are a great pair of pants.

As usual, fast delivery. Pants fit great. Not as tough as the canvas type Carhartt I usually wear but still good quality
