It’s a simple concept and it works
This is a simple concept of stretching to work out the muscle cramps, spasms and kinks…but consistently and measurably. I’m in my mid-50’s and have had bruxism all my life. In my teens and 20’s I would experience lockjaw that lasted at most a week. I started using a mouth guard since then and stopped getting lockjaw until this most recent experience even though I was wearing my mouth guard. My jaw muscles locked up right after Thanksgiving and it improved slowly a bit but wouldn’t get completely better as the weeks and months rolled by. I visited a dentist, acupuncturist and a chiropractor to make sure it wasn’t something else going on and to see if they can treat it. Thankfully it wasn’t anything too serious other than my weakened muscles and more stress in my life. But none of these treatments made any lasting impact. In February, I finally found this nifty little device on Amazon and decided to give it a try even though it seemed way over priced, as I was getting pretty desperate. I received it on February 21 and started using it daily. I didn’t notice any difference for the first week or so. The instructions say to stop using it and seek professional advice if you don’t see improvement after several days. But I had already consulted with all the professionals so I felt good to continue. After about two weeks of daily use according to the instructions, I started to notice some improvement. It would get better for a few days and then if I had more stress and clenched during sleep it would regress a bit. So it was a two steps forward one step back process for me. But I kept at it and stretched 30-40 second every two hours per instructions. I noticed that it’s important to heed their warning not to over stretch to the point of pain. I got desperate and pushed myself in the beginning but noticed it made my muscles cramp up more. I started out at the lower end of the mid size one and it took me a little over three weeks to move onto the largest one. Today is March 24 and I’m almost pain free and my jaws are now completely open with no pain. The only time I have pain now is when I first awake and if I clenched my teeth overnight it will hurt until I get some stretches in. Yesterday was my first time I woke up without any pain since this first started! I learned that building up the muscles in your shoulders, neck and chest is also important so I do core strengthening, upper body workouts daily. I work on zoom every day so make sure I watch my posture and stretch my neck, shoulder and head muscles during and after work. I use resistance bands to give my neck and upper body a good stretch and strengthen them. I take calcium and turmeric daily as well to help my jaw and neck joints. There’s also important muscles, lymphatic valves and nerves on the sides of the neck that has been weak for me all my life and gets worse with age. So I use massage oil or lotion on the sides of my neck to upper chest/shoulders and give it a good rub/massage. It can be painful and very sensitive like when you do lymphatic massage but it‘s been very helpful to do. After using this consistently and seeing the improvements, I would say it’s well worth the money, considering I paid over $700 for the specialists over this. I plan to keep this as part of my whole body stretch routine from now on together with the massages and strengthening.

Ridiculously over priced and worth every penny
I have lots to complain about on this product. It’s a cheap piece of plastic and you (nor I) am ever going to be okay with spending so much on something that could be 3D printed for next to nothing. To add insult to injury, the case is trash. It won’t stay closed, don’t even try - just throw it away.BUT IT WORKS!!! I’ve bought every gizmo and devise for treating TMJ and this obscenely overpriced piece of plastic is the one thing that turned the tide of pain.I’m still mad that it costs so much for what likely costs pennies to produce but, the obscene mark-up will be worth it for you. Just think of it as paying all the $ for lasting relief rather than a tiny piece of plastic.I hate to admit this to myself it if I lost it (which is likely because again, it’s a tiny piece of plastic without a case) I’d repurchase it again. It’s worth the money because the money is worth the pain relief.

Worth it !
I’m so glad I trusted the reviews and decided to purchase this ! I haven’t been able to open my mouth more than 1 finger & been having extreme pain & tightness from TMJ. I’ve only been using it for 3 days and already see the results and able to stretch my mouth wider. The only thing I don’t like is that the case they give u for it won’t stay closed so it’s useless.

Life changing for those with intense jaw tension.
After 20 years of TMJ related issues I finally found something that offers me relief. A 20-30 minute session and your posture will be different, tension gone, shoulders and neck relaxed, it's life changing. Your mouth will even be easier to open.

Works for measurement or reminder
Ultimately you could open your mouth for a stretch and count to 30 several times a day and get the same results. This device works great to see progress through measurements or have a physical device to see as a reminder.Good idea, good product. Possibly overpriced. Do what works for you! You can reach goals through consistent stretching either way.

Case worked for one whole day
The case that holds the stretching device doesn't stay closed. It worked initially but then stopped within a day, maybe opened and closed it 4 times. Terrible quality control for a few pieces of plastic that they are selling for $80
