Good knock-off replacement for RV cooktop
I have an older RV that was manufactured with an Atwood cooktop. One of the valves failed. I found an Atwood replacement that fit the same cut-out in the countertop. Then I found this one for about half the price. This seems to be a knockoff of the Atwood (or perhaps is made in the same factory, but without the brand name. The only differences are the plastic knobs being different PLUS this one comes with a wind shield/cover (un-necessary for installation inside the RV but perhaps nice for an outdoor installation). The construction and metal gage seems to be as heavy as the old Atwood that original to my RV and so far, it works fine.The "standard" specification for the counter cut-out has changed over the years. The two burner cooktops designed for newer RV's will not fit in the cut-out in older RVs. Amazon only has about 3 options for cooktops that fit the old-style openings. So far, I am happy that I didn't spend $80 extra on the "name brand".

Great in my '95 Roadtrek 210 Popular
Nice! I needed to replace the original stove in my campervan and was having trouble finding one to fit without modifications to my countertop. This was a perfect fit for size. Being older my van has copper tubing for the propane and had to modify that but all went well!Nice steady flame, good variable flame control. I'd buy again!

Fit perfectly in older camper
I have a older, 2010 Outback camper with a outside stove that folds down from the side of the camper. The old stove was rusted and it terrible shape and looked for a replacement and ordered this one. To my surprise it fit perfectly into a molded plastic stove holder. I assumed that I would have to make alot of modifications to get it to fit, but to my surprise it was the exact dimensions of the old stove.

Hazard of burning skin when stovetop touching stovetop
Pictures of product not consistent with shipped product. There are no gaps between the burner and stovetop. When lit, the flames heat directly onto the stovetop causing a very an intense . Burns will occur if touched anywhere. I am concerned it burned into my countertop.Poor design, hazard as shipped.I just tried out the stove over Thanksgiving and returned today. Unable to return during to deadline.Very disappointed.

Good product
I bought this for the cabin on my boat, but it was a little too large for my application. However it was so well made and looked so nice I decided not to return it but to keep it for a backup, if our electric goes out for an extended period of time, like often happens here in the hills of Western PA in the winter or in spring time storms.

Engineering flaw
Looks good and cover is substantial, but the unit has some problems. The major issue is that when the cover is in the down position over the burners it rests on the gas control knobs. If you push hard on the knobs to seat them completely the cover still rests on the knobs and this allows the knobs to be turned and the gas to flow. In the right conditions such as traveling down the road with the LP tank left open there is a chance for gas to escape and cause a fire or explosion if set off by a spark.What I did was to place a small cabinet bumper under the cover so when it is in the down position it is raised up. Another solution is to install shorted knobs. How this unit went to market with such a flaw is a indication of poor engineering and quality control by the company. I called the company to alert them to the issue but was unable to talk to anyone and gave up.Another issue I am having is that I am unable to adjust the gas to anything but a very low flame as it flutters at higher settings. Needless to say I am very dissatisfied with the stove and wish I had installed it while it was still under the return window. No one should have to correct problems that should have been fixed during the design and manufacturing process.

Just unpacked, not impressed, contradictory instructions
{Update: Got a great response from Amazon. I did receive a refund due since this stove did not fit my intended use inside an RV - I have already purchased a different cooktop via Amazon}I should have read more reviews! Especially, this items is *not* returnable! So, make certain it is what you want!The warning sticker on the unit itself (see photo) says that the unit is "For Outdoor use only!" and must have at least 8 in clearance on the front and rear of the unit and 12 in clearance on the left and right. This is generally impractical or impossible in an RV. I cannot accept this liability.For the low price I was not expecting fine engineering, however this thing is very cheaply built out of stamped metal. The design leaves a lot to be desired. For example, the cover right and left wings fall down as you're trying to open or close the cover. The cover itself does not secure to the cooktop unit, instead they expect you to screw it down to the counter top with the hinges being exposed on the surface of the counter top. Also, I had hoped to be able to pop this unit out of the RV so that I could use it for outdoor cooking. Since the cover and it's wings would be most useful outdoors it's not going to help much if it's screwed to the counter top inside the RV!The sales page has the following sentence:"The burners and knobs are separated by a small baffle to prevent the control knobs from high temperature."That baffle is just a flimsy little piece of angle that is clipped onto the small burner grate. I thought it was just packing material.I also did not notice that this cooktop has no igniter whatsoever. I knew I did not want a cooktop that required 120 volt AC for the igniter, but I thought this one would at least include a push button piezoelectric igniter (which cost less than $5 each elsewhere on Amazon).I will be exploring other options and will likely return this one. {Update: I did receive a refund}
