Easy Boogie-Woogie: For Beginners (Easy For Beginners)

just started my journey into blues and boogie Woogie. Have not gotten very far into the book, but so far it is easy to understand and follow. Audio examples are provided however I have not looked into how to access them. I imagine online access.

I never write reviews but, I love this book. I have only been playing piano for a couple of years. I was offered free lessons at our local senior center, and, one of my "piano" goals was to learn to play boogie woogie.If you have a basic knowledge of how to read music then you should not have any problems using this book. The lessons start with the very basics of boogie woogie and then build on each lesson. The trick is to go slow until you are comfortable enough to move on to the next lesson to build your skill set. This is a really great book and, I have really enjoy playing these music pieces. The only problem I had was downloading the music files but, since I couldn't I didn't let that stop me.(Keep practicing)!

This book is super fun! Very informative, and the downloadble audio examples are very helpful.

I found it boring and stopped use after one time. They show you a rhythm then you listen to the music via online and repeat repeat repeat repeat. Just not for me.

My grandson is just learning to jam. I think this book is ideal for a newbie, He loved it.

Just covers the most basic points of boogie woogie, but I was impressed with the methods used and the emphasis on the fundamentals. A good book for a beginning boogie woogie player.

I absolutely love this book. Couldn't stop playing when it arrived! Easy enough to play right off the bat! Some require a bit of practice.
