Scott's Cakes 1 Pound Butter Cream Center Filled Easter Egg Covered in Dark Chocolate

Good product. I was somewhat confused as the product title said dark chocolate but the description said milk chocolate. Title was correct. Taste is good.

You can taste the cherry flavoring, but it’s a little mild. It’s not a marshmallow-type of filling which is good. It doesn’t melt in your mouth like the traditional ones did. I’d probably buy again… hard to find flavor and pleasant taste.

I ordered them on March 20th and just received it on April 3rd. I will not order anything any more that is shipped my the U.S post office. Other then that it is good.

I have order Easter eggs last year and thought I would order one from this company. The chocolate was dry, old, and broke off the egg. The cream filling was tasteless. I regularly make homemade fudge, and the chocolate used here was worse than my worst burnt fudge mistake. I do 't know what went wrong, but after my fist taste—a small inner slice—I threw out the egg. I am a chocoholic and for me to throw out chocolate, you know it had to be awful.

What more can you ask for, these are the best cream egga since I was a kid. My mom always got us a cream filled egg for our Easter. Even whan I was in Vietnam she managed to get one to me! The only thing I could have wished for to make them perfect would have been a yellow yolk. Oh well, the taste brought back such wondeerful memories that I would have paid twice the price to get the quality. They are wonderful. I seldon write reviews, but these needed swomeone to say how good they are. One word of caution, the shipping and handling fee is steep, so I checked to see how much more it cost for "expedited" and since it was only a buck more for the 6 eggs I ordered, I went with that and sure enough the arrived much faster. This is the third order I have made with them in two years and their quality has been very consistant!! If they are not hand made they sure look and taste like they are. When I run out, I will be ordering more, even if it isn't Easter. I hope they will stil make them up for me. I can't put a price on the wonderful memories of my Mom that they brought back.

The egg was very dense and tasted sooo good. The dark chocolate was fabulous. However, it was disappointing that there were no nuts or fruit chunks in it. I love getting a bite of nut or candied fruit as I eat it. For this egg, it seems as though the cream, fruit and nuts were put through a blender.

I love fruit and nut Easter eggs, and none of them taste alike. This egg had a thick, very dark chocolate shell which I thought was GREAT. The fruit center is very stiff and has an unusual flavor, but not unpleasant. The shipping cost was outrageous, and I wouldn't buy this again for that reason.
