I am using this with my Nikon D7500, it was easy to set up and works very well.

A C2032 battery is supplied for the transmitter; the receiver needs two AAA batteries which are not supplied. The unit can be used either in wired mode or as a wireless remote - the reason I bought it. I have a Nikon Z5 and this device works with that camera. Recommended.

I have used this a few times since it arrived and it works perfectly, I use auto focus on my subject then turn that off and keep my subject in the same location.This really helps photograph kids better than being behind the camera as I can interact with them much better and act like an idiot which they love, means i can get much more natural shots... Dont think about it, just get one...

Given that the product description includes my own camera's use - a Nikon D5600 - I was disappointed that the receiver placement in the top accessory shoe sticks out over the camera's pop-up flash and prevents its use. The makers should have designed it to pivot 90 degrees to the left where there are no camera controls or built in flash to obstruct. Some kind of flash bar screwing into the bottom tripod bush might also have avoided this. As it is, I'll probably be using be using my separate Nikon SB700 flash unit which connects to the contacts built in to the accessory shoe without this product's awkward remote control lead lead plugging into the Nikon's remote socket.

I ordered this remote for a Nikon D7500. Neither of the two cables which arrived fitted the accessory terminal, (right terminal in photo). This despite the fact that it shows the correct connection in the advertising photo, what I got was the cable on the left in the advertisement but not the cable on the right. Very annoyed that Amazon could not correct the error and I had to return the item.

This is the first remote I have had for my camera and I'm thrilled with it. The small remote with shutter release and delay has enabled me to photograph my hands in my food shots very easily. It has saved me so much time. Great purchase

I can not believe how difficult it has been to get a remote for my Z6. I realize there is a Nikon app that is supposed to make a remote redundant BUT I have not had much luck with the app and light from a device defeated the purpose of night shot so Ive been suffering for a while now. Going to Hawai’i. Want some night shots, some time laps, waterfalls, sunrises, sun sets and family portraits all of which need a simple remote just to push the button. Finally got one that works, is not way over priced, AND it came with the correct cable to connect the receiver to the camera. Also the receiver and cord can be used as a hand held unit so camera is isolated and stable when needed and you are just working next to it. Click, easy cheesy just like my old film nikon 2002 from back in the day. I can stop pulling my hair out now. This unit is basic and works and that all this cowboy needs. Yee haa.

Provato solo una volta per ora con Nikon D5600 fa il suo lavoro, vedrò col tempo se è anche affidabile.

Pas très patient je m'embrouille un peu pour suivre la bonne procédure de mise en route mais une fois en fonction ça marche très bien. Livré avec 2 cables , un qui sert sur mon Nikon D850 et un autre sur mon Nikon Z7. Su la photo jointe j'ai la télécommande dans la main. La question que je me pose maintenant: si je désire utiliser l'émetteur avec en même temps un récepteur sur chacun de mes boitiers (donc 2 récepteurs en tout) , est ce que ça va fonctionner? Et est ce qu'il y a moyen d'acheter un récepteur à part ou faut il racheter un jeu complet (émetteur et récepteur) ?
