What is the lowest speed (strokes per minute)? can one cut at below 1700 spm?

Hi there. The 36V MultiVolt recip saw has a 4-stage speed selector. At low speed you can go 0-1,700 SPM. At medium speed it ranges from 0-2,000 SPM. At high speed it ranges from 0-2,500 SPM and at Max speed you can go 0-,3000 SPM. Hope this helps.

Can you use the 18V batteries with it?

No 36v only. They do make a couple different ones 18v

will this saw cut thick metal? (a car frame)

This saw has good power. I am sure it will cut, its a matter of batteries how long they will last. But the saw is really good, probably best in the market ( in my opinion).

do you sell the blades on amazon ?

Any Recipricating saw blades from companies such as Dewalt, Diablo, Milwaukee, etc will work in this Saw. And yes, they are all solt on Amazon.
