CarharttMen's Loose Fit Canvas Utility Work Pant

I've worn the double front canvas Carhartt pants for years but have grown a little tired of carrying that weight around all day. I bought these for work outside dealing with masonry materials up and down from my knees all day on concrete, dirt, and sand. They're very comfortable and have good pockets for throwing my knife, markers, and some of my trowels in. So far I've seen no signs of wear on the fabric. I do wear knee pads to protect both my knees and my pants, so the direct abrasion is eased in that regard, but I'm sure these will hold up for quite a while given my years of experience wearing Carhartt products.Would I buy them again? I already ordered 2 more pairs in different colors as of this review, two weeks after ordering the first pair and 5 days of working in them.Just sick of doing my laundry so much 🤣

My husband wears them for work. They wash well and he said they are comfortable.

I've purchased several pairs of these pants over the years. A year ago I bought a pair in my usual size (33-inch waist) and they fit fine. Recently I bought another pair in the same size but the fit was tight in the waist and hips. so I returned them and got a pair with a 34-inch waist, which fit properly. This isn't the first time I've had a problem with inconsistent sizing on these pants. I would say order your usual size and hope for the best.

Compared to Levis and Dockers these pants are very small at the waste. 38" is my size but these are a good 2" from aligning the button. Length and thigh though are good.

Purchased as a gift for my husband, these are handsome pants in lightweight cotton so they will be great for summer. Unfortunately, we will be sending them back (after trying two sizes) because the waist was, not just tight but, very tight in both cases. We ended up ordering the same color in Carthartt's rugged flex fit line and that should work better.Keep in mind when ordering that cotton does not give as well as fabrics with stretch and there is always the possibility of shrinkage. Different manufacturers might have different measurements too. The ones we tried were made in Nicaragua.But, again, these are very nice looking, well made, and live up to the Carhartt name.

The fit will and serve for work purposes. The sizing dissipates after washing, but sizing loss isn't a game changer.

This was my second pair of these pants so I already knew my size. I bought them again because they're comfy and very light for summer weather as you work hard in the heat. They also have some handy pockets for tools. They go above the bellybutton, but I like it that way. Would absolutely recommend if you already know your size.

I bought it for my boyfriend he’s a welder and was always burning tiny holes in his jeans so I thought I’d try carhartt and I’ve never been so impressed with pants they have lasted longer then all his pants and clean very well.

This product will eventually loss a significant amount of color and integrity. It's not very durable, it recently ripped on me. The fit however, I like.

Not quite as thick and heavy as the double fronts I used to wear, which is a nice change for working in warmer weather. Price is great too.
