Albert and David Maysles: Interviews (Conversations with Filmmakers Series)

Found this book an enlightening distraction. There was no need to speed through and occasionally I was able to squeeze in a chapter or three between projects. Some details were of course resounded from interview to interview, but still intriguing, inspirational, and informative. I also appreciated the honesty of the dialogue and a noticed "move" as years progressed throughout the shared interviews. I think the "instructionals" found within the interviews are a "must-read" for anybody seriously studying Documentary filmmaking or considering plying its craft themselves.
