I was having issues with the Hario filters where some coffees would stall. I bought these on someone's recommendation to try to fix that.They are big and also feel very soft to the touch as if they're made of cloth instead of raspy like paper. They brew coffee fine. No noticeable taste or other detrimental effects, but it also isn't going to make your coffee 10x better.I bought it to fix the stalling issue, and it has not fixed the issue. Probably my technique. No fault to the filter though, it makes a fine cuppa coffee.

Switched to these when the bleached white Abaca's went out of stock, and honestly I like these more. Being cheaper is also a plus!

Use it on my v60. I like them better than Hario’s filters. They are a bit thinner.

These are my favorite filters for v60 at the moment. I do not notice any imparted flavors from the filter after they are washed. The water tends to flow quickly through these filters, so you have more control over your brew time. I have tried the bleached and unbleached versions of this filter without noticing a huge difference between them.

I’ve used this for pre-ground, cheap “chopper” grinds, and a $10 hand grinder. The weave of this paper is less retentive of fines and maintains a great flow throughout the brew. I consistently get bright and clean brews.
