Does this put any strain in neck muscles when doing ab exercises?

Not at all. My abs were a little soar but that means its working. But there was no strain on my back or neck. Hope this helps!

Would it be good for a 63 year old woman ?

Well, it really depends on body condition, this ab workout equipment actually make you do sit-ups easier.

How much resistance do the bands offer? Weight amount of resisyane? Will I be able to get a decent arm workout?

I returned the machine. I did not think it gave me a good work out. I did not think the bands offered much resistance.
