I drive a Volvo XC 90 and do a lot of remote work and unfortunately the cockpit is sorely lacking in a surface to place a laptop or tablet when pulled over or parked trying to do a work task. So I looked at the full range of options available, and for my vehicle, the seat bolt mount was definitely the best option. This product seemed like about the best value in the category so I gave it a try.The actual tablet mount works better than it looks, it actually works really well and holds the iPad pretty well either by itself or with the keyboard attached by connecting directly to the keyboard. There is a little bit of wobbling/vibration if used while driving, but I don’t really see how that could be avoided with the nature of the product. The handles to tighten and loosen the joint bolts are very well designed with a spring mechanism that allows easy adjustment without looking, which is especially important for the bottom portion.I have not attempted anything heavier than the iPad Pro with keyboard, it does seem like that is pretty much the safe limit for the device. Based on the dimensions, you could probably cram a MacBook Air into it but I wouldn’t try a MacBook Pro.The ball joint that connects the actual accessory holder at the top is a standard size, I believe 20 mm which is very popular for different brands of mounting accessories, so if you do want to try it with a different device like a GPS unit or a camera, it should be trivial to swap those accessories. I am probably going to look for a head to mount my DJI vlog camera.

I had tried more 5 different tablet mounts before I bought this one. This one is very very stable even after I attached 10 inch tablet in this mount. My truck old diesel truck which vibrate while truck alot, but this one does not vibrate much so I can read monitor gauges really easily. All of the tablet mounts I tried had vibration, swinging, and unstable once I mounted my tablet. Those mounts were around $30-40. I know that this mount is like $90, but wow definitely worth a lot! I am 100% satisfied.. top of this, monting base and hinge are very solid not like cheap one so I do not worry about breakage in the future. I am highly recommend this product!!!!!! You will not regret! My tablet issamsung a7 with hard case.

It installed easily and worked as expected. I was assuming there would be some wobbling because it’s attached with one bolt. It wasn’t bad, but I secured it to my center console. I got a zip tie mount, some weather strip foam, and a zip tie. See the photo I attached. With that, it’s much more secure. It doesn’t wobble at all.

I have a ram mount for my laptop, AND this mount for my tablet, and this mount is way more sturdy than the ram mount, and I do have a HEAVY LARGE tablet. I’d give 5 stars if they would put a gusset on the “claw” that goes under the seat bolt, as it does have some flex to it, but even still it’s an awesome tablet holder.

I wanted a rigid car mount for my iPad pro 11, something sturdy that wouldn't move around or drup/sag under the weight of my iPad.My searches on Amazon found the Arkon seat rail mount. The reviews were good so I gave it a try.The mount was very easy to install in my 2023 Toyota Camry, and was perfect fit.When installed I was able to position my iPad in the perfect spot for my needs. This mount has plenty of adjustability.The spring loaded clamps keep a good grip on my iPad without worry of it falling out.And best of all, no drupe or sag!All components are made of aluminum except for the clamp. It appears to be made of plastic or resin.I did find that due to it's length, the mount would "vibrate" or shake a little when driving on rough roads. To correct this, I positioned the mount so that it's middle adjustable "elbow" was supported by the center console of my car ( see picture).Overall I do recommend this mount.

Great product. Provides multiple mounting options depending on vehicle seat rail layout. Once mounted it is very sturdy.

Screws kept backing out so had to add some loctite. Arm can be a pain to adjust side to side. Still use it everyday for my 13in IPad Pro and my iPhone.
