Not an evidence-based textbook which still needs a lot of work!
I'm an associate Professor of clinical science works in the pathology department, and I must give this book a thumbs down. In fact I wish I could return it, but I waited too long. It is not nearly in-depth enough to build lectures from and to become an expert in the subject. For example, check out the chapter on benign prostatic hypertrophy. Again, it does not explain any of the leading theories of the cause of this disease. And the other thing I strongly disliked about this book is the fact it didn't use references! Its paragraphs would just spit out information in a cluttered manner without any references or any mention of where this information came from. It is truly not an evidence-based textbook.
