After searching for the cleanest chocolate I could find, (because I simply cannot live without chocolate, I've tried), HU wins out hands down. With only a few ingredients, it hits the spot with no processed sugar, no erythritol, no artificial anything, and no preservatives. I enjoy a handful of dark chocolate gems every day without guilt. The salty version is my favorite, but the mint and plain dark chocolate are also quite tasty. They are pricy, but you get what you pay for, and I would rather support a company that works to give me a clean, quality product. HU has my heart forever.

Made with coconut sugar, melts nicely, mix with nuts and seeds for a healthy Snack---SO DELISH!

This product has too much lead in it. had to throw mine away. I wouldn’t use it.

I’m wondering what this company will do to address the high lead content in their chocolate. I think this chocolate is delicious and I was so happy to find it initially. I was eating it for a few months before the consumer reports news broke. There are high levels of lead in Hu’s dark chocolate according to the report. I’m very upset because I had also been sharing it with my toddler son before the news and lead is extremely bad for children!! It actually sickens me that I was unknowingly feeding him so much lead. I hope they can source better cacao beans that are low in lead because I really like the taste of this brand. It’s pretty disappointing.

Deep intense chocolate flavor with a strong hint of saltiness. Not too sweet. Melts very easily, being in the package immediately. Mine were delivered partly melted.

I love the HU Mint Gems and am sorry to see that they are discontinued from HU. I hope they will reconsider and bring back this flavor. These are great in the afternoon (or evening) when you just sit down with a cup of coffee. For me, better than any kind of "chocolate product" out there. I do hope that Hu will continue the GEMS even though the Mint will be gone. The package arrived in a small box and the best buy date was four months away. Tightly wrapped. Amazon delivery driver was so careful bringing to my door. I wish I could thank them personally. Highly recommend!

These came with cold packs and not one had melted. They had a little bit of the white dust on them, which usually means they aren’t the freshest They have a much shorter shelf life than I expected. This bunch expires end of October. Not sure if we received some of the last on the shelf or what. They do taste significantly better than regular store bought chips and seem to do great with the baking I’ve used them with this far. My kids love them. They have that good bite to them more like dark chocolate. I will probably order again just not in the large quantities. Will also look into their shelf life more too.

These high-cacao chips are lowest in heavy metal contamination and they taste wonderful!
