I use the cork casters regularly, both to set beverages on and to cover the tops of cups with heated beverages to maintain warmth. They are sufficiently durable, and I have not needed to throw any out. It a cheap way to get a large number of casters.

I feel these are overpriced, but i was surprised when i opened the package and they are very pliable. They're just round disks of cork, no indentation for your glass or felt bottom to prevent slipping on your coffee table, but they do work excellently as coasters.

Thin, & simple. Handle with care

I like to drink a cup of iced coffee at my desk while I'm working and that tends to get very messy. I bought the 1/8 inch and they work for drinks and cups that don't sweat very much but couldn't absorb the iced coffee. It went right through the coaster leaving a mark on my desk and getting papers underneath wet. After that I just stack two and it works fine.
