This item is harder to put on than the Video shows. If you can't use both hands you cannot put it on by your self. I have severe Tendinitis in my shoulder and was very painful to try to do it myself so my husband has to do it. The Video shows a woman putting this on but she uses both hands where I cannot. So if you buy this item you have to be able to use both hands or make sure you have some one to put it on for you.

You know, I'm the kind of person who is always surprised when my hard earned money actually buys a product of quality. I'm surprised when seams don't fall apart after the first washing. Surprised when buttons stay on a garment more than two weeks. So yes, I was stunned when I removed the SimplyJNJ shoulder brace from its carefully sealed bag. It has significant weight, is solidly constructed and inspires hope for relief from a painfully injured shoulder. After cooling one of the two ice gel packs and putting the brace on my shoulder, I realized I had purchased something of value. It felt as snug as a comforting embrace. The coldness of the ice pack soothed the searing pain. Sweet relief. I will continue using this shoulder brace as long as I need to, and because it's so well made, I know it will be there to serve me again in the future. Bravo, SimplyJNJ!

This helped reduce the inflammation in my shoulders as part of a treatment plan. I liked that I can use it for both shoulders, the compression feature makes a big difference, and the price is great. It came with 2 ice gel packs and that makes it very convenient to use. With both of my shoulders having issues, it was a little challenging to pull the strap hanging in the back around to the front and to reach to the side to change the pressure valve.

I found the shoulder unit to be very effective. The shoulder is a challenge to maintain ice therapy. The SimplJnJ kept the cold pad in the right place with pressure. Once you figure out how to get it on. That said they have an easy to understand video.

Save yourself a lot of money and time and buy one or two of the biggest cold packs you can find (and be sure they have chambered compartments for the gel).This mess of nylon and Velcro is 90% lightweight body armor and 10% ice pack. Such a thin ice pack!! Like 1/2" thick! And with no chambers, all the gel smooshes to the bottom, so your elbow will be nice and cold.Also, the package says "Size: universal", so what did I pay extra for the large for? Finally, mine arrived with only one of the two promised ice packs. And yes, it's extremely difficult to get on and off. Also good luck trying to reach around to your opposite shoulder to turn the air valve to "off".Returned the day it arrived. Bought two of the "Mr Cool" hip ice packs for $20 less.

I’m recovering from shoulder surgery and it’s a godsend

I ended up returning this product. It is way overpriced but figured it would be worth it, IF it was helpful after my surgery.It is way too cumbersome and nearly impossible to put on yourself if you have a serious injury. It made me so much wider than I usually am that I kept bumping my bad shoulder into things as well lolThe inflation sounded like a good plan but it just didnt fit snugly or properly to give it support and the cold gel packs didnt stay in place. Purchased an ice machine instead and it worked amazingly and the cuff fit much more snugly.Overall seriously disappointed, don't bother with it.

I bought this after having two shoulder surgeries, for a broken arm that dislocated. The air pump adds cushioning to help get a good night's sleep dealing with all the pain. The ice pack is perfect for icing at nieor after physio therapy. Highly recommended for your shoulder injury, this is an amazing find and wish I had bought it right away, worth every penny.

Works awesome. I had surgery and it was a God send. This cold therapy allows to move around without bulky tubes, wires and buckets attached (which I also have). Made it so that my active lifestyle could get back to normal quicker. Would highly recommend to anyone going thru shoulder surgery.

shipping time and product look great But Small for who ? And if you had put the video on order site I would known it was too complicated for my 90 yr old mother!

I bought this product and all I have to say is, it's fine, once it's on but it's almost impossible trying to get it on by yourself. Whoever designed this obviously didn't try putting it themselves and definitely not after having surgery. So many little things that could be easily fixed and make this a great product!
