This slide is sturdy and safe.
This slide was a gift to our grand daughter who loves climbing. She was 17months old when she first used it and absolutely loves it. Our daughter put it together with no problem. It is outside and weathered heat and snow.

Need clear directions, but AMAZING SLIDE
The directions need to be more clear on how to put together, but other than that absolutely fantastic sturdy slide It’s so worth it and just really high quality heavy duty that doesn’t feel cheap like most.

Not worth the money
Instructions are minimal. The way it’s fastened together is not strong enough. Flimsy. Not worth the price for almost 200$.

Indoor slide that is fun for kids
This HAPPYMATY all-plastic slide is suitable for indoor play areas, ideally on carpet. The worst part of this package, by far, is the instructions. The steps in the instructions are basically, have your mom or dad put it together....and then, have fun! That's kind of it. The parts list in the instructions is wrong. It says you only get 2 of one type of screw when, in fact you get like a dozen. You need to spend some time looking at this thing before you try to put it together. There are large plastic screws that look like maybe you can screw them in with a phillips head screwdriver - but you can't. That will rip the plastic. Instead, you need to dig around in the parts bag to find this little plastic piece that looks like a cross. You'll use that to drive the large plastic screws in. If you misplace that plastic cross piece, I think your best bet is to try to use a large coin, like a quarter to twist in the screws. Assembly took longer than I anticipated because there were no instructions. Additionally, I was short a couple pieces in my bag of hardware. Luckily, they threw an entire second bag into the box so I was able to assemble the slide and now I have a bunch of left over parts. The slide itself is pretty fun for kids about 2-5 years old. That age range can navigate the stairs and slide down on their own, once they get the hang of it. The top part drops pretty quick, so an adult should be there to initially help 2-3 year olds until they figure it out. There is a basketball hoop that installs on either side of the stairs, but without a backboard, it's not that fun. Ultimately I took the hoop off, so don't buy this slide if you are thinking the hoop is going to be a great bonus feature. The slide works best on carpet, because it's less likely to move around and it makes for a slightly softer landing. When you are done you can hand loosen two of the large plastic nuts to fold the slide up. A picture on the product page shows it tucked away against a wall. You can do that, but the slide is fairly big and weighs a lot. When you place it against a wall, you need to brace it against something else, like a bookcase, otherwise it will fall. It's not very sturdy against a wall like that, so you definitely do not want a 2 year old anywhere near it if it's resting against a wall that way. It would be a major safety hazard.Overall, the slide is still pretty good indoor fun for kids. Unfortunately, the assembly is not great, and you really need to think about how you are going to store it, because it's not safe loosely propped up against a wall. Once you figure out those two problems though, it's a 4-star slide on carpet for little kids.
