Aylio Ultimate Resistance Bands Fitness Set

After much research I purchased the set of Aylio bands. I like the fact that there are six bands instead of three and that there are two sets of handles. It comes with a travel pouch which is helpful when travelling. The little slider that you insert in the door is much better than the one I had with another brand as it stays put when you shut the door and doesn't slide up and down. The bands themselves are excellent, with good quality construction and elasticity. The hooks are metal instead of plastic and seem very sturdy. The handles have excellent grips and I find that I don't need to wear gloves when using them.I have been using them for several weeks and find they perform well. The little booklet that comes with exercises is very handy and is a good reference guide. I've watched parts of the DVD once but don't use it because the little booklet gives you all the information you need. I've been a long time gym member and was skeptical about using bands but I find that they work just as well and although I can't comment on their wear and tear or how long they'll last, I think for the moment they are performing as expected and as advertised. If they do wear out and break it's worthwhile getting a new set as it can easily offset the cost of expensive gym equipment.Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and would gladly reccomend it to anyone wanting to workout at home or on the road in an inexpensive and effective way.

I first purchased the "complete resistance band" product from Aylio but found it to provide insufficient resistance during P90X workouts (background: 24 year old, 180lb male), also when first using the bands the fabric on one of the handles unraveled and the metal clips shot into my foot. No damage done but it hurt like hell. Upon contacting customer service I received a shipment of new handles with absolutely no hassle, they didnt even ask for a picture of the broken one.So I sent back that package and decided to give Aylio another shot with the "ultimate" band set. It was a big difference, I can get more resistance than I can handle with just a couple bands rather than having to strap up five. However when working with one of the orange bands the band detached from the metal clip (the band came out of its fabric holder). When I contacted customer service they asked no questions and simply sent me a replacement orange band. Very easy to work with and responsive to the problems I had with their products, definitely five stars for customer service.With respect to actually using the bands here are the advantages. Fantastic price for the range of resistance compared to dumbbells. Also during a specific exercise the bands increase in resistance as your muscles reach the range of motion where they are strongest. For example with a dumbbell bicep curl I would be unable to lift a weight from the bottom of the motion that I knew I would be able to move around at the top of the motion. Again with respect to dumbbells, these bands gain no momentum so the movement is all up to you. These bands challenge your muscles in a different and highly effective way. Finally they are really compact and you can lug around a small gym in a light bag. Definitely recommended but be aware you may have to contact customer service to get around teething problems.

I am an airline pilot, so needless to say, I travel a lot. It can be very difficult to find a gym while traveling, so I purchased these bands to take with me. The bands are light weight and fit easily in my carry on sized suitcase. Finding a gym while traveling can be difficult, but these bands allow me to work out in my hotel room. Never again can I use the excuse "the hotel didn't have a gym".The Aylio resistance bands really are the best quality on the market. They are very durable so I never worry that one will break on me. I have been using the same set consistently for over six months and they still feel like new.The only thing I would change about these bands is the DVD. I originally purchased the set with the DVD thinking it was a complete workout video, however it is not. The DVD is instructional only. It shows how to use the bands for each individual move. You need to create your own complete workout or use the bands with another exercise program. If you already know how to use resistance bands, or have an exercise program which shows you how to use them, you probably dont need to spend the extra money for the DVD set. I currently use the bands with Chalean Extreme and they work great. These bands also work well with PX90 or any similar program which uses resistance bands.If you are looking for resistance bands, these are it! They may be more expensive than others you have seen, but the extra money is well worth the quality you will get.

I bought this set especially because it had the extra bands, handles and straps. Plus I liked that it came with the DVD and booklet on the exercises. Seemed to be fairly good quality but, one of the yellow band connectors gave way where it connects to the ring that attaches to the handle. The sewn fabric holder tore at the seam which let the small ball anchor in the tube to pass thru and snapped the band. I was able to sew it and repair it but am concerned with use and wear other tube ends could separate.

The bands arrived complete and in good order. The instructional DVD demonstrates the different exercises (also pictured in the included book); it doesn't have a workout video or anything like that. The variety of bands is great and allows you to work different muscle groups effectively. There are two straps for the simple but effective door system, so I'm able to keep some bands "door-ready" and others "loose". Having four handles is awesome, so I don't have to switch the bands/handles as frequently. The greatest resistance I use is with two orange bands (the thickest bands); it's possible to use 5 bands at once, so I have a long way to go with this kit. My wife also uses the bands and finds the range works for her as well.Highly recommended!
