2014 Nissan Rogue - worked great
I purchased this when my 2014 Nissan Rogue check engine light came on, and I began getting messages that the gas cap was not on well. I had around 170k miles on the car and knew this could be the issue to both. It was a perfect fit. The error messages stopped and the check engine light went off. So, this one fit my vehicle well and fixed the problems with very little cost.

This is an excellent price for a Fuel Cap
This is an excellent price for a Fuel Cap, it feels of similar quality to the OEM cap, albeit a different style of gas cap for my 2005 Honda Civic LX. My Civic had its emissions/engine light click on for the first time in its 10+ years/190,000mi lifespan, which had me a worried. After looking in my service manual, I saw that it stated that a loose fuel cap can often cause this, but also make sure you read your manual because even after its fixed, it can still take 3 days for the light to go away, assuming that was the actual problem. When I first check my gas cap, it felt a little loose and there was no pressure release when I untightened it, so I retightened it (its a 3-click design, don't like it as much as the single-click design the Stant has), and drove around for a day or two, and the light didn't go away, so I decided to order this cap to be safe. By the time the cap came, it was on the 4th day, replaced the cap with the Stant, and the light was still on when my wife drove it to work. But, by the time she drove home, the light was off! I didn't see any noticeable cracks on my old cap, but the o ring did look a little worn down so I'm glad to have replaced it so cheaply. The gas cap feels solid (plastic, of course), it has a single click design (do not try and overtighten it!), and of course does its job as it should. Keep in mind this isn't a guarantee for the check engine/emissions light, that's just a general warning light and can mean something far more serious, so I don't really agree with the 1-star reviews that claim it didn't fix the warning light problem. The gas cap works fine (assuming its the proper fit), so down-rating something because it doesn't fix a problem it wasn't designed for isn't right.

So far, no more check engine lights
The new cap seems to fit much tighter than my old one. When I had a check engine light,I checked with my very basic OBDII scanner. Couldn’t find any codes, so I erased and the light went out. My 2011 Terrain ran fine before and after. From past experience I’ve learned that old gas caps can trip a light. So I replaced the cap. Couple months in, no CEL. Would give 5 stars, but too early to say for sure. As far as no tether, I put Velcro on cap grip and inside of filler door and stick the cap on the door when I fill up

Great product - Buy it for OEM replacement! Solves check engine light problem!
The check engine light on my Volvo S80 lit up and the dearer diagnosed it as a vapor leak through the gas lid. They said it is a very common problem with the Volvos and changing the fuel cap would solve this problem, However, they wanted to charge me $45 for OEM replacement fuel cap and $15 to install it. I was hesitant that the reason could be just a fuel cap so I did some research on my own. I found the common problem on internet forums and recommendation to buy a non-oem replacement cap. So I bought this product from amazon just to try it out (and at this price point, it doesn't harm to experiment). It worked like a charm! I did have to reset the check engine light with the USB OBDII connector (also bought amazon for ~$10) and the problem was pleasantly solved! when you close the lid, make sure you hear the click. I have been using it for 3 months and it has worked as intended: No lights, no signals, no chimes and no complains. However, make sure not to close it too tight, otherwise it will require quite a bit of force to open.

Great replacement cap!
The cap looks and fits great on a '99 Honda CRV. This fuel cap is great quality, it's durable fastens tightly, and like I said; it's a perfect fit for my '99 Honda CRV. Things to note are that this fuel cap is smaller than my stock cap in exterior dimensions so it fit with ease inside my fuel door, the other thing to note (as I'm sure you can see) is that this has no cord to hold it to the car, nor can one be added. This is what I miss most about my old fuel gap, instead of just letting this one hang you have to take it off and put it somewhere at the pump, although it hasn't happened to me I'm sure that some people will forget this cap at the pump because it's out of site when you're done filling. All in all, if you can get over not having a cord to hold it in place when the cap is off then this is a great replacement cap.

Alternate part numbers on box
Not sure which is the correct part number, and if the difference has an impact on performance. Picture shows a white inner inlet piece, whereas the cap I received is all black. So that’s a concern as well. Considering there are hundreds of different caps, even a small variation can impact the fuel tank pressure sensor, resulting in a fault warning light. Sent a clarification request to Stant. Will see if I receive a helpful response.

Bought this fuel cap as a replacement to the original fuel cap on my 2013 Toyota RAV4, I only paid a few dollars for it (on promotion) however it fit like a glove. The Stant10834 fuel cap actually feels stronger than the OEM fuel cap I broke.

It easily fits my 2011 Toyota RAV4. It makes satisfying clicks as you turn when tight enough (the original was a one click kind). As the picture shows, it does not have a plastic tether like the OEM one. I used it to test if the emission sensors were being tripped by the old cap no longer sealing properly. Alas, the sensors are still being tripped, but that is not this fuel caps fault and I now know that is not the problem.

Ajustó muy bien en mi auto Nissan Sentra 2.0l, es de buen material y acabados, recomendaciones siempre verificar la compatibilidad del vehículo con la refacción.
