Broil King 11240 Crown 20 Post Extension

It is a Great grill, not hard to assemble. Everything i was looking for, i would buy it again. Looking to buy one for my Dad for Christmas.

Extension fit perfectly and was easy to install on our outdoor grill. Would recommend this for anyone who purchase this grill.

Arrived within stated delivery window. The box was slightly beat up. One piece (back facade) had three dents, but assembled without problems. Assembly directions are pictures/diagrams only. Had to purchase new fitting for natural gas supply line to mate with provided connector.Heats up quickly. Great at low to medium-high (250-550). Smells like melting plastic at very high (650+)Grids are OK for firm foods (steaks, chicken breast, and some vegetables), not so good for soft hamburgers and sticky fish. Planned to buy different grids anyway. Area under grill not very useful; meant for gas tank.Slightly bigger than expected for “small grill”; easily do 12 hamburgers, probably 20, maybe 24. If you remove warming rack, you can fit a medium turkey in there.

Hard to find item for the grill. Mounted promptly and without much work. Works on Broil Mate Grill also.

This part is not needed when you are doing a deck for patio installation. You do need the "patio base kit". The post extension they sent me is stainless steel and does not fit any part of the BBQ I can find.

Would have liked an option for a longer version. Was disappointed that a cover plate for the open side was not included with the post. Therefore causing additional expense of have a sheet metal shop make one. Would have been nice if it had been painted.

Came missing parts. Had to wait 35 minutes on phone for service.After receiving the missing parts (7 days) I put the Barbeque together and found the lower casting is cracked.I would not recommend.
