NOT your everyday model
This product and all of the Metal Earth items are not toys. They are an intricate model that takes patience and skill to complete. They were not FUN to put together but challenging. The result s very satisfying and the models striking. Do not give this to a child or anyone who has a short attention span or gets frustrated easily. They are fragile before you start building, during the building process and after. The metal bends very easily and care must be taken to properly shape those pieces that require shaping. The right tools are essential. You will need fine needle nose pliers, tweezers, straight edges for bending, a shear cutter to remove the pieces from the metal sheet and a good magnifying lamp. The effort will be worth it. For your first model you should choose an easy one such as the Washington Monument. Then you can graduate up to the more difficult . Stay away from the tanks until you have gained some experience. These are not your everyday kits.

Great Metal Earth Model, but not for beginners
This was a great model to put together. That being said, it isn't the easiest they have either. I've built nearly 90 of these models since I've started with this hobby, and have learned a few things, first of which being that this model would be tough for a beginner because it has the curves on the skin of the blimp on one side, and a half-cone on the back. This model is one of Metal Earth's earlier works as well, so some of the elements of the design might be tough for a new builder to work around or figure out.Hope this review helps someone!

Awful
I bought this to build with my 12 year old son. It was for a school project. I have built modules since I was a kid. I consider myself rather skilled when it comes to this stuff. This kit is horrible with awful directions. One of the cheap flimsy parts broke in half.

All models are a bit challenging.
Some pieces were a little difficult and a few directions were a little confusing but otherwise it was great model.

Challenging
My husband enjoys the Metal Earth kits. The pieces are small and you’ll need patience plus some helpful tools like tweezers. Good lighting and good eyesight are beneficial. It helped that he’d completed other kits prior to this one. This Zeppelin model was one of more challenging kits, especially to get the curve on the blimp. Note, front half is “covered” view while back half shows exposed inner “skeleton”. See package photo.

fun project
This was a gift for someone who was bored out of their mind during the quarantine. They really liked it. The pieces are made well and fit with each other. It is possible to do this with good scissors or basic wire cutters. I would recommend getting a set of small pliers, especially if you don't have small hands and want to avoid frustration. The instructions were clear and completed model looked really nice.

Frusturated
The idea of this model is great; however, trying to to put it together is crazy frusturating. We were only on step three and couldn't keep the sides together when bending the side that needed to be bent. I got to the point to where I just threw it away. But I don't only blame the product for that because my son and father were supposed to be helping me put it together and instead trying to figure out a helpful way to keep everything together they just did their own thing that had nothing to do with the model.
