My daughter LOVES lego anything. She was curious to try building a robot but the ones I kept finding either looked too juvenile/easy or looked too difficult/advanced. This one was perfect!! Literally like building with legos, instructions are in the same style and everything. It was a style she was familiar with and was easy to follow. She’s 8 and the only frustration she had was with how long it took and when she had to repeat the same steps for the opposite side, like making the right arm and then making the left arm. Other than that minor annoyance on her part, she loved it. She was so excited and proud to have built a robot. We plugged it in and thankfully had batteries on hand for the remote. She loves that there is an app. This was perfect for her as a first time and for being such a big lego lover. She loves playing with it and finds it really cool that she built it. It’s an awesome value for the price! Really happy with our purchase.

This exceeded our expectations. Bought for our grandchild and they loved it! It is a bit hard for a 6 year old to build but not a problem with an adults help. Very well made and great gift for the price.

So happy with this purchase!! I bought Max for my son for Christmas last year he’s 11 years old and neither nor him or my husband could figure the thing out $200 down the drain.I needed something less advanced which was impossible to find , so I decided to look on Amazon and I came across this guy!This one is definitely a great purchase for a child between the ages of 8 and 14, it provides some challenge but also not frustrating which makes it fun to put together. Easy to read instructions . My kid is going to love it!

Our 2 grandsons put it together and got it up and running pretty fast. Granted it might have taken the 7 year old a little longer had he not had his 11 year old brother helping him but both were pleased with the results.

The description of this says you can code and program this robot. The app does not work and you can’t do it. I gave this to my grandson for Christmas. It was disappointing that it did not do all the things it said.

I bought this for my 6 year old son for Christmas and we built it together today. My son loves Legos and has been building with them for 3 years, but this robot was easy for him to assemble with a little help from me. He has been begging for a Lego Robot since his birthday in February, but I was hesitant because all robot/remote control toys we have had in the past a very poor quality and only last a day or two. While we have only used this for a couple hours today, it seems durable and can move easily on carpet and hard floor. I know my son will enjoy playing with the robot and building his own creations with the motor in the future.
