Has potential, needs improvements
I gave this little (big) guy a try as my first smartwatch. I really enjoyed it at first and experimented. And yes I did a factory reset to clear any common bugs/issues.Pros:+ large display - bright, vibrant clear+ user friendly menus for easy navigating+ a lot of the English was actually English (you know what I mean)+ cameras - the 2 MP camera isn't anything special, but the 8 MP camera performed fairly well for a watch+ full Android software - Google play store, 3rd party apps - easy to customize+ battery life - while not exactly the best I'd say it will last a full day with medium use (I had GPS off)+ watch band - comfortable and durableCons:+ connectivity quality - my watch had issues staying connected via Bluetooth and couldn't find my work's WiFi - a factory reset solved this, but for how long?+ limited watch faces+ Heart rate monitor was not streaming 24/7+ tiny keyboard - a swipe function might be better+ Bluetooth might need to be paired multiple times for a stable connection+ texting and calls - are unable to be fully functional unless you have a SIM card inserted

Good smart watch, sadly has deal breaking design issues.
I loved this watch at first while I ran in on WiFi waiting for my SIM card to arrive. Sadly I found an issue with the design once I had my service running. When on AT&T LTE band 17 (700mhz) the touch screen goes crazy with random touches when ever data is sent or recieved. I didn't try it with my band 12 T-Mobile SIM card, but I imagine it would do the exact same thing as they are both 700mhz LTE. This was a deal breaker for me. I also don't know if it does this on ALL bands, but I know for a fact that it did it on 17. I used the LTE Discovery app to check.Speaking of the touch screen, the "corners" (if this were a square screen) do not register touch. If you open an app that lets you draw you can see this for yourself. You will never be able to fill in the outer 2.5mm or so of each 45* angled "corner" of the display. Middle top and middle sides work right to the edge. This may be common in most round capacitive touch displays because the conductive material is generally a grid like a screen door. If you wonder why it's so hard to hit enter on the stock keyboard, that's why. It's right in that dead zone. It will almost always type "m" instead. Turn on show touches in the debug settings to see white dots where the screen is detecting your finger. This will let you visually see any random phantom touches as well as incorrect touches.Other minor issues include the charger dock being made poorly. It is extremely difficult to get the watch to charge when placed on the dock. This should have been easy. I opened the dock and found that there are four locations for neodymium magnets. The magnets are missing! It only had the main magnet in the middle that holds the watch to the dock, but does not align it at all. The Watch still has the four alignment magnets inside which serve no purpose at all with the dock being cheaped out. If these were present in the dock it would automatically align perfectly. I can only _assume_ they had issues with the magnets being put in at the factory with the wrong polarity and watches that ended up repelling their own chargers. I believe they decided to omit them entirely to handle that issue. I ordered a second dock to check if it too was missing the magnets. It was. I was about to order some magnets to fix this myself, but then upon discovering the touch screen issue that makes the watch literally unusable I decided against it. If you want your watch to charge more easily look for some cylindrical magnets here on Amazon that are 5mm wide and 4-5mm tall. They will fit perfectly. The dock has four screws under the silicone base ring. The watch looks great, I love the large LCD display that won't ever burn and suffer image retention like OLED would and the very nice ceramic bezel. The speaker and microphone quality are great. Both sound better than I expected. The battery is excellent for a full Android watch. I had ZERO issued with Bluetooth or WiFi connections and connection stability. The band isn't that comfortable, but since it has a quick release and fits all standard 24mm bands it's no big deal. I ordered a canvas strap that was a major improvement. If the manufacturer wants to send me a second watch to verify if the touch issues were a one off fault, I will happily update this review. I hope it isn't a design fault because there is nothing worse than a touch screen doing random things. I had to be fearful if I opened the developer settings or any other important apps that the watch wouldn't randomly brick itself by changing random settings. I could not talk on Zello with it because I could not hold the touch to talk button down on the screen without it throwing down 20 or so other touches per second all over, cancelling my message. My primary use for this watch was to be Zello, so that's a fail.Over all, I am super disappointed because I really loved the watch. Sadly it's no good.*EDIT*So, Kospet was kind enough to send a replacement watch for me to test at no cost. They do want their customers to be happy, and were very interested to find if my issues were a one off fault. Sadly, they were not. The replacement watch has the exact same touch screen issues when on LTE band 17. Basically the only band I have for AT&T here, and most likely anywhere out of a city since 700mhz travels the farthest.I have not had the time to fully tear this thing apart and see if I can shield the digitizer and digitizer controller from the RF energy of the antenna. Once I find the time I will make a video on the issue and a possible solution if I find one. I have raised the star rating to three in good faith to Kospet standing behind their product as best they can. I really do appreciate that, and I wish I could give it a higher rating. I think it's a fantastic looking watch, and it's really responsive in use. Again, if you plan on mostly using this with WiFi or bluetooth you will have absolutely zero issues with the touch screen.

Not what i expected
First of all i was really hopefully for this product but turned out to be VERY, VERY, DISAPPOINTED! The UI sucks...lets just get that out of the way. It is hard to navigate for it is NOT optimally optimized for the screen size! The battery, this thing drains like an open faucet and the unit gets REALLY HOT...so much to the point that i have to take the watch off. It literally holds no charge. On "charging"...the watch does not sit flush on the charging cradle...i literally have to move the watch around to make contact. They say "turn off the wifi and bluetooth"...if i wanted a "DUMB WATCH" i would've bought that instead. A proper software revision can mainly fix all of this but i am NOT hopeful. A "full andriod watch" is a good idea on paper but if this is what it is...i will certainly make sure to miss out on the next one!

Smart and works a phone
I was thinking about getting a smartwatch but they are over my budget and can't work separately without a phone. This KOSPET smartwatch matches my needs. First thing first, it can work without a smartphone. It has its own Nano-Sim card slot and able to make phone calls alone. Also, it has its own face ID locking mechanism. The 1260mah battery is able to last more than 1 day. The watch is equipped with the Android 7.1.1 version. It is fast and responsive. There are a front 2MP camera and an 8MP side camera. 32GB memory allows me to download tons of app like Google Maps. I just wish they come with better packaging but it works as described Overall, a decent budget stylish watch which actually works.

A Lot of Watch
The Kospet Prime smart watch is a great smart watch. It does everything it says it does, including voice commands, voice to text, GPS, activity tracking, music and more; the camera is pretty excellent, you can customize the facings, and the battery life is decent. I enjoyed the watch for the few hours I used it for.My three boo boo's about this thing:1. It's HUGE. I thought I was gonna enjoy a big watch, and I did. The size of it is actually one of the things I like about it, but it's not ideal for all day wearing unless you want to lug a brick on your wrist all day, and2. you can't sync your messages to your phone with bluetooth unless you use a SIM card, which isn't that big a deal, but the problem is Kospet is not compatible with Verizon phones, and3. The wiiwatch 2 app this watch requires on your phone is very basic and not user friendly in my opinion. This is a big problem if you're focused on tracking your fitness. Sometimes the bluetooth needs to be refreshed, and the process to reconnect takes too many steps on the Wiiwatch 2 when a simple swipe down on other apps is all that's necessary for other apps, like VeryFitPro.If $200 is your budget and these above boo boo's aren't dealer breakers for you , then this watch might be for you. It just wasn't a good fit for me.

Ok, get what you pay for
Delivery arrived a day earlier, was happy with that. Set-up was easy and wifi signal on phone is strong.Noticed a few things while wearing the watch and will list them here.GOOD POINTS:easy to set upsimple to use with navigation menueasy to type with keyboardcan use custom watch face skins (use google for premium and free skins with touch points)good weight on the wrist and strap is very secureeasy to send sms and voice callsgoogle maps navigation is spot onloud notification tonesBAD POINTS:watch overheats and gives battery hot warningcant run more than 3 apps at oncebattery drains quickly when not in use (100% to 79% in 5 hours screen off, notifications off)SIM APN is set up for 02 only, so manually inputting other providers APNWatch is ideal for minimal use (not multitasking) checking for emails, sms, calls but not for YouTube and other memory hungry apps.*****UPDATE*****Upon research, the current firmware is unstable and that causes battery drain and heat issues.I downloaded the prior firmware and flashed it, and so far has been stable, no heat issues and battery life decent.I think they need to iron out the issue within the current firmware before dispatching the item.

A 'special' smartwatch.
The media could not be loaded. Prior to purchasing and after carefully reading everything about it, I knew this watch had the potential of being something special and I couldn't turn it down particularly at the deal price I paid. From the outset, let me say I am blown away at what I've got for my money. I love it.It runs on Android which is my favourite system software and can run all Google apps including music. It's WiFi enabled and can handle 2G, 3G or 4G which not all of its kind can do. It packs 3GB of ram and 32GB of rom which is ample for me. I'm happy with the battery life; around 2 hours to fully charge gives me about 2 days use. Charger, of course is included. I like the facial recognition security software which gives me reassurance. It feels robust and quality made with a 1 and a half inch display which, with the touch of a button on the touchscreen can be converted to a rectangular display.I like the camera functions, one frontal and one even better one on the side. All sorts of fitness and sport modes are included and described in the listing but I particularly like the running mode. It actually encourages me to run. It can even handle GPS which comes in handy, quite frequently for me. A nice black rubberish strap is included and I believe it's replaceable if I fancy changing the colour. Oh, and of course, it can handle sending and receiving calls and texts.Overall, I think it's great. Super recommended.Well done, Kospet

For gadget geeks only
What can I say?Good points:Great idea. Liked all the apps on the watch and easy to use. Clear screen and sound. Phone worked well.Bad points:Overheated 3 times on initial set up and eventually shut down. If you want to use the features the battery life is less than one day. If you leave it on the table the battery will last 24hrs. I literally had to get the magnifying glass out to set up log ons. Looked a bit like a tin of shoe polish on the wrist.Like I say, great idea but you can't have a watch overheating on your body and they need to sort out heat sinks and a better processor that is less power hungry. If you are a gadget geek and want to waste £200, go ahead. It's your money. But ask yourself whether this will actually be worth it. Instead I went for thw hawawei gt2. Costs less, glass and stainless steel (not plastic) waterproof and slimmer. Actually looks and feels like a quality watch, not a polish tin. Stillake great calls by blue tooth. And the battery life is phenomenal. OK, it doesn't have the internet on it, but really? Do you actually need that on a watch? Good hunting!

Outstanding !!!
I paid £200 for this watch, seems like alot but believe me well worth every penny. Full android experience on your wrist. Battery lasted 2-3 days with watch synched to phone and SIM card installed. Amazing. Screen bright and vibrant. App easy to sync with watch and phone the best smart watch I have seen yet. No joke.

Bad experience
What can I say, nothing really as not even connected with my iPhone. I hope they review the software because I like the size of the watch.
