Simple little speaker
Simple little 12 VDC speaker that I used to get rid of the annoying screeching tone when my Tahoe doors were open with the key in the ignition. It works very simply. I had a video that showed me how to wire it into the system, and it has a USB port to connect to your computer. Connected to your computer, it acts like a flash drive, so you just copy whatever sound files you want to it. Once disconnected, it turns on and plays the sound(s) when you open the door. Much nicer than the screeching tone. Now, the biggest problem is figuring out what music I want to play ...

Love it
Used it as a replacement for the key buzzer in one of my squarebody trucks and will definitely be using it in all of em from now on. You will have to purchase the cord separately. Sound transfer was fairly easy, but you do have to own an mp3 of the sound (purchase via Amazon music, itunes, etc.) You also will have to download a sound editing program on your computer to trim the sound clip you want, but there's a good free one on windows. Little bit complicated to figure out at first, but super easy once you do. Wired straight into existing circuit and it works perfect.

Little expensive but easy to use!
Super easy to use. This will be replacing the annoying retro door "buzzer" in my vintage Mercedes. It now plays a door chime MP3 I found online. Drag and drop over USB, and connect to 12V buzzer signal from car - thats all! Speaker quality is.. ok. Dont expect to play a high quality song track, but for chirps & chimes its pretty good.

Possibly the coolest mod you can do to your car
I love this item in theory. It's very cool that you can program this for a quick audio clip and replace that annoying buzzer in your car. especially if you own something old with the really really annoying buzz noise instead of the polite beeps you find in newer stuff. The problem is that they decided to use all of the cheapest components possible to build this. According to the makers website the new models of these will work with USB3 whether you get that one or not appears to be luck of the draw. More importantly the connector to communicate with your PC is antiquated and I doubt most people will have some lying around now that phones are 3-4 generations past this connector. (Most common application I can think of for having one of these style cables) so be prepared to buy one so you can use this. Operates good, does what I want, no complaints there, just wish they charged me an extra 5 bucks and used parts from this decade.

This thing is perfect.
This thing is awesome, I used it to replace the annoying headlight/door buzzer on my ‘97 Suburban. Simple to wire in to just about anything you could imagine. Has a usable power range of 7-24VDC. It is actually louder than i expected. Which is also cool. Simple to upload a sound. I found using free ringtone MP3 files work great. You plug it in to a computer (mini usb cord not included) and you can drag and drop one file on the speaker at a time. Eject the drive before unplugging and she’s golden. The sound will play on a loop anytime the speaker is powered on.

Works but pia to transfer files
Wired this up to lights so that my son didn’t forget to turn off his lights when he shut the car down. For some reason “don’t forget to turn off the lights sweetie, Mommy loves you!” Playing loudly on a teenagers car gets the job done. It’s a very rare event these days to even hear the speaker playing. Previously, there had been over 4 times that lights were left on in his old Jeep. The pain in the butt was to get the recording onto the speaker. Had to did up old Windows laptops for the installation due to Mac not being able to do it. Also needed to sort through the junk drawer to find a usb cable with the right end. Was able to get it working, but as others said, it takes a little bit of time to do.

Buzzer 12vdc
This Buzzer works very well as a turn signal beeper on my motorcycle. The db level is good. However, there was no information sent with this item and also no adjustment on this Buzzer for "Programmable Tone" that I can find. There is a small Female connector on the side, for a cable of some sort. No information or connector cable was sent with the Buzzer. I paid a total of $34.45 for this item. I don't feel I received all the items that should have been included with this Buzzer, if it is "Programmable" as the item description says. Maybe customer service can take care of this little problem as they read this review. If other cutomers decide on this product, remember, you may expericence the same as I did. I recommend this Buzzer, but beware, it is just the Buzzer your getting and no information or connector cable. It's pretty straigh forward on making the Buzzer work, but if there are other options, it would be nice to know what they are and how to utilize them. Sincerely, Ken

Fried inexplicably after 30 days
Worked for exactly one month, then it died. Flipped the switch, heard a pop, now it's toast.
