What others are calling a flaw, I consider a design feature. It is difficult and inconvenient to try and take a pic with the top half of the case handling below the camera. It just gets in the way. So that part can be very easily removed and then put back on once you're through. It protects the camera nicely when it's closed. I'd buy again.

Very well made and fits my HX-99 perfectly. Protects your camera and has a cool retro look as well.

I like this a lot. It's faster to access than a traditional zippered pouch. That being said, It's a little more work to take it off when you need to access the sd card and battery. Looks classy

I think it’s great! It does fit my Sony Dsc-hx80. The bottom screws in so it will not fall off. Which does make it more difficult to access sd card but I don’t need to that often. If you need a quick pic you will have to unbotton the top, no big deal. I also feel like while I wear it, it hangs fine, does not hang funny or hang forward at all. I know someone put that in review. Maybe make sure you put on strap correctly? It does come with matching strap which is great! Either way I like so far.

The buttons are excellent because they are very tight. I do not worry about the buttons accidentally coming loose and releasing my expensive compact digital camera.

I love the idea of this item but disappointed that the cover / front of the item comes unbucked very easily and falls off while I am using the product. the bottom is secure though and covers the compartment that holds the card and battery so difficult to get undone to get the card in and out. Will be looking for another case .The leather looks good and is a GREAT initial idea.

Perfect case for my camera. I had a different Sony for years and just loved the case, as it protected my camera, and I could comfortably wear it around my neck. I got a new, different model camera while on a trip. Before I could get a case for it, I dropped it and broke it. When I replaced it, I was glad to find that the case I like so much was made to also fit my new camera. I couldn't live without it!

This is a really solid, snug-fitting case. Bought it for my wife's DSC-HX80 camera. Appears to be real leather, has the smell of leather. Strap seems sturdy. Great case.

My Sony camera fits perfectly in this case and secures it in place well. Also makes a great accessory to your outfit with a nice nature indie look.

Zum Schutz für meine Sony DC HX99 habe ich diese Kameratasche angeschafft. Macht im Retrolook und in recht guter Verarbeitung auch echt was her. Schützt vor Staub allerdings nur bedingt, vor Wasser als Kunstledertasche selbstverständlich leider nicht. Der Tragekomfort ist gut und und auch das Anbringen des Tragegurtes mittels Schlaufe ist einfach und verspricht Sicherheit beim Tragen. Als totale Fehlkonstruktion möchte ich allerdings die Befestigung der Objektivschutzhülle durch die beiden völlig unzureichenden Druckknöpfe auf der Unterseite der Tasche bezeichnen. Vom ersten Moment an fiel die Hülle beim Öffnen egal welches Druckknopfes zu Boden, da die beiden Knöpfe nicht einmal der leichtesten Berührung bzw. Drehung der Oberschale Stand hielten. Die Druckknöpfe sind viel zu schwach ausgelegt, da hier m.E.n. die einfachste und billigste Version verbaut wird, die ein richtiges Einrasten in den innenliegenden (einfachen) Springring völlig vermissen lässt. Ich habe das Malheur für mich selbst nun zufriedenstellend behoben und bin der Meinung: Hier besteht dringend Nacharbeitungsbedarf für eine an und für sich gute und zweckmäßige Kameratasche. Dafür von mir „nur“ 3 Sterne.

A quality case with strap that fits my HX99 perfectly. The snaps are a little tight but I expect them to loosen up with use. Very happy to have classy protection for my expensive little camera.

Nice quality with a vintage look. Very happy with this purchase, was worth the wait. Closure snap a little stiff at first, just needs to be used a bit.
