I gifted the Everlast EverGel Mantis Punch Mitts in Grey, and they were a huge hit! The recipient was thrilled with both the design and functionality of these mitts. My 3 sons and I are boxers. We not only train at a local boxing gym, we also train at home. We also own other boxing mitts (i.e. Winning, Cleto Reyes and ProBoxing). This is our first Everlast EverGel Mantis boxing mitts. If the quality is there, we expect it to last a few years just like the other boxing mitts we own. During a training session at home (in addition to training at our boxing gym), my sons and I found that these are very good mitts. My #3 and #2 sons are light heavyweights. My #1 son is a middleweight. I am a Cruiserweight. These mitts are also used by our boxing gym. So, overall, we find these mitts to be just fine!

The mitts feel lighter than I expected. The hand slots are soft leather (more likely soft fake leather), and are stitched on to the pad. The pad feels like a hard foam, and indents slightly when hit. After a few strong punches I noticed slight dents in the pads. The hand slots also seem to be designed with the intention that any hand will fit in them, left or right. The only drawback to this is that you never feel like you're holding it comfortably, however it is quite secure. It seems to get the job done and was a very reasonable price. I am satisfied and recommend this to anyone who is boxing on a budget.

Great focus mitts, I have zero complaints. With a few other brand I notice my hand slips out sometimes when I'm holding for someone. This mitts have padding under the palm to avoid that and feel really comfortable. I would definitely recommend these to fighters of all levels.

My husband and I workout together, and started boxing. These work great for us, but we're no professionals. I have small hands, and the glove part is a bit big, so I just grip my fingers around the top of the finger holes and it works fine. They don't seem cheap to me, and seem reasonably sturdy, but we're just boxing for fun. Bottom line, they work, and I would recommend them to anyone. I feel like, unless you're training for some legit boxing, then these should be fine.

Was very impresses by the padding of these mits. Excellent quality I plan on buying another pair for my buddy..

We used these for our martial arts gym, so they were put to the test for sure. Durability of course was an issue as they began to peel . They were easy to use, fit very well and comfortable. They were lightweight so no issues , the look and style were standard. Overall a 3 star item.

Been a long time with these gloves now. Very sturdy. Has a good dent in the middle but you still can’t feel the punch through the glove. Recommend product
