High speed reels
Penn Clash2hs 4000 reels are absolutely fantastic, light weight, holds close to 400 yards of 10 pound braid line. They cast a mile, very well on the construction side. Just a little faster on the retrieve than the regular Clash2. I've caught plenty of over slot size snook, and Red fish, without a problem.I definitely recommend it.

Smoothest reel I've ever used. Casts a mile, especially with braided line. You can cast as hard as you can, and the bail will still remain open. I like that because I've seen other reels that will shut close mid cast ruining the distance.Fighting fish with it has been handling them with ease. The drag holds well, even for the big 10lbs catfish I caught lol.

Ordered new Penn reel--received a used and damaged reel
I purchased a new Penn spinning real, but I received a used reel. I received the reel on 7/17/25 and returned it on 7/18/25. The reel in the listing was described as black and grey--not the color of the reel I received (see pictures). The screw to the bail roller is rusted and there are numerous scratches and blemishes. This reel had a lot of rough use.

Excellent for inshore salt water use
Use for drum fishing. Handles 35 inch reds no problem, excellent drag and high retrieve. Reel is sealed well so no issue using in salt. Will buy more of these
