Perfect, came as advertised
We purchased a lot of these for a 26"x53" table I found on Craiglist. The idea was to make a table so each child had his own side, and to make it semi-Minecraftie.How I put this together:-Used sand paper to remove the finish from the table (60 grit)-I used clamps to attach a framing square in one corner-Used a single 8oz container (used 75%) of Gurilla Glue-I spread the glue relatively thinly across the entire table-Moistened the back side of every base plate with water (just a wipe with a damp cloth)-I attached Legos in every corner where four plates met (seen in the pic, far left), and other pieces around the edges-Covered in cardboard and then heavy booksWorks 100% perfect. Kids love it and regular Legos work 100% as they should - PERFECT product. 100% satisfied.Things I would do better/recommend you doing:-Spread the Gurilla Glue VERY thin. It does expand. As you can see in the pics it came out of the sides and some places in the middle. It's very easy to remove, so really no harm no foul-That's it :)

Fits with Legos and Looks Like Lego brand
I was nervous to buy these. We have all Lego sets, and no knock off, and I was concerned about the fit. When they arrived, I checked them out. We have 1 of these exact size and color in the official Lego brand.I decided to compare them side by side. Both of them have pegs the same height, and the same width apart. The bottom of the plate is the same pattern, and spacing on both the plates. The Legos stick to both the same. I even used Legos to connect the two plates together, and there was no difference. The Legos held the two plates together. The only difference I saw is the official Lego one is a slightly darker color. So slight, unless they are laid flat right next to each other, it's unnoticeable. The official Lego one also has the word Lego written on all the pegs, which this one does not have obviously.

5"x5" base plates
Great product to enlarge your 10"x10" plates. I needed more room for my project, and these worked out perfectly. Note that these are stackable, which also means that they are thicker than regular lego plates, but work well with other brands. I would recommend. I used with my beach/desert scene.

they may easily come off
Base plates are compatible with Megabloks and Lego. The fit on mine was OK but not as tight as the original Lego plates when used with Legos, especially on the bottom. For example, if you take a stack of 5 2x1 pieces and stick it on the bottom of the plate, it may fall off, similarly, on the top, they may easily come off. For the price it's a good deal. The color is close but off from the Lego sand color base. I'd say the quality right behind Megabloks.

Excellent Product/Value!!! Lego blocks stick tight to these!
I bought these to make a builder board for my stepgirl. A big thank you to the reviewer who suggested placing lego blocks at the joints before gluing the plates down to ensure alignment...Genius! Here's what you do: take a great big white plastic cutting board, glue these plates to the flat side with gorilla glue (not too much as it expands! Put heavy stuff on top to deter expansion), make sure you put blocks on all of the connecting seams to ensure alignment. After this dries you have one side for Lego building and then you can flip it for playdoh/messy stuff and it wipes clean!

Close but not exact.
First off, this is not a baseplate. The wording is wrong. Baseplates are thinner and do not have attachment points on the underside. This is a normal plate, just larger than most. These do have the attachment points on the bottom. So it could be used a flat roof or whatever. (Tip: The thickness of a baseplate and height of the studs combined is equal to the thickness of a plate)They look good. The clutch is a bit more than LEGO but this is generally okay for a person like myself who does not take things apart often. The color seems fine. The big difference is the thickness. For some people it will not make any difference but for others it can. I held this plate up to a LEGO of the same sized and I could see it was slightly thicker. I was 0.11mm thicker than the LEGO standard. This does not sound like much but it can make a difference how bricks line up above it. I also noticed the corners were not flat, but were slightly thicker. This means bricks attached there will not sit flat. Would need to carefully shave this off a little, which one should not have to do.Be mindful about giving other people fake LEGO. Many people are purists and will not want off brand stuff. Some people wont care at all. The quality is definitely lower than LEGO. It is best to ask about it first. You can find LEGO version of these for sale at slightly higher prices. The difference in price might not be worth it to some to skip on the quality of the real version.Because it gets asked a lot. Yes, due to magic LEGO math, you can put a Duplo brick on these. This plate would need to be the bottom piece though. They fit on pretty tight though, so a smaller child might have trouble with it.
