You're 5 year old will probably break this! A toy for Army Men Fans and WW2 Nuts
I liked it so much I bought two, it's a nice break from expensive and time consuming model kits. I would recommend if you are more into the painting than building, or if you want to practice your model painting skills on something cheap yet detailed. I routinely see the same criticisms leveled at BMC/Timmee toys (they are actually owned and run by the same company, Processed Plastics Inc), which I feel stem from a lack of understanding of what this product really is. These are reproduction of an old toy from 50/60/70s. Are they as good quality as though original toys--no, but they come very close and at this price I can't complain. These are meant mainly for people who can tell a Tiger Tank from a Patton Tank--WW2 and military nerds, not as stocking stuffers for five years--though can serve that purpose nicely, you are much better off buying a Timmee tank, which are less detailed, and smaller, but made out of a more flexible durable plastic. The Patton Timmee tank pack is slighter more expensive than this tank, but you get three so it works out to be cheaper. Durable does not mean indestructible. Parents often conflate the two. The barrel probably isn't going to withstand getting swung around like a helicopter, and the tank won't withstand getting thrown onto concrete pavement, sat on, etc... If you run it over with your car that's your fault. It will withstand years of being slid on the ground, aiming the turret, ramming other tanks, getting knocked over etc.. The price, all these toys were cheaper before the pandemic, if you're are going to wine about about the price, maybe you shouldn't be buying toys during a global pandemic? Priorities? This is toeing the line between a cheap model and a toy, would 10/10 recommend for children 10+ or adults who want a cheap replica of a plastic Tiger II.

Quality toy
I bought this Tiger tank and a Sherman for my 9 year old grandson who has a strong interest in WW2. He loves them. They are made well. Very realistic in their details. I like that they give you stickers to add on the tanks. They are a little pricey but they are a well made , quality toy. Worth a little extra for nice size and scaled detail. Good product.

A great toy tank for 1:32 plastic soldiers
This is a great toy tank for the money. I's just a little smaller than 1/32 scale, probably closer to 1/35 when compared to a Forces of Valor Tiger II. Perfect complement for Airfix 1:32 German Infantry. This is made from softer forgiving plastic that is similar to what the old Airfix and other army men were made from, it will bend without breaking. The tracks are molded in and there are no wheels on the solid bottom. The turret rotates but the gun is fixed and does not elivate, less stuff for boys to break. This tank is much closer to scale than similar CTS tanks. The CTS tanks are also made from more brittle plastic and are open on the bottom of the hull. I wish BMC made a Cromwell, Churchill, Panther, Tiger, & Panzer IV version of these to go along with the Tiger II & Sherman Tanks.

Durable but not real detailed
When I was a kid (many many years ago) this would not have been considered realistic looking enough for our neighborhood mock army fights, a little closer to a plastic toy for the sand box. I don't know if it's texture or detailing (there is some detail), but it just looks sort of drab and plastic, not like the Shermans we got that screwed together and looked great. Durable, my kids like it, but awful expensive for what it must have cost to make (probably less than 50 cents).
