I breed Labradors and we always microchip our puppies before they go to their new families. These work great.

These chips are so easy to use.

Great value for the money. We microchip each of the large puppies we breed before they go to their new homes. The size of the needle is large and intimidating at first. While someone holds the puppy I pull up the skin on the back of the neck, clean and then wiggle it as I insert the needle to inject the microchip. The expiration date on the microchip stickers is for the sterility of the package and NOT in reference to the microchip itself expiring as they don't expire.

Microchips are ICAR certified, laminated and the packaging says they're sterile.However the syringe is not the best I've seen - there's no mechanism assuring successful implantation (the chip can easily be pulled back to the syringe or not pushed out completely under the skin; also the plastic lock part plays an important role, so you should be careful and read the manual). If you want to use them in professional veterinary, I would suggest you to try one syringe just "in the air" and see how it works.Yet I rate them good, because I bought them just for studies, and I won't be implanting them. Those microchips are unlocked to be programmed with a proper RFID coding device, and programming them works as expected, no problems occured. For study/academic use they are really great.If you think about programming them and moving to another syringe, remember to make them sterile again (both the chip and the syringe).

Great size and very easy to use! The chips are just as small as a grain of rice. Be careful with the needles coming off though as not all of them are tight so before using just make sure it’s tight. But overall I will definitely be buying again! Great for animal rescues. They are all lubed and sterilized.

I've had FiNano which stopped making microchips so I tried these for puppies needing new homes and there were no instructions on how to register them which was disappointing. I am able to use them, but not thrilled with the lack of attention to detail!
