Exactly what I was looking for.
To start I should explain what I was looking for in buying these tires. I own a road bike, a commuter that I built myself, and a mountain bike that hasn't seen much use in recent past. The idea I had was to turn my mountain bike into a "big kid bike" that would take me back to the days of knocking around the neighborhood taking shortcuts through the grass and hopping curbs. These tires couldn't be any more perfect for that purpose. I'm no longer confined to one type of riding and can take a detour wherever I please. During my ride today I rode pavement on my way out, then came back on a mix of gravel and hard pack. Obviously these tires have their limits. Do they roll as fast as road bike tires? Of course not. Do they provide as much traction as knobby tires in the mud? No way. Do I still love them? Yes! As an all around tire to ride everywhere, this has to be one of the best money can buy. They roll very fast for their size thanks to their weight and dual density rubber compound. They are also extremely comfortable due to their width (I bought the 26x2.0's.) You won't regret buying these tires if your intentions are similar to mine. Get out and have fun on your bike!

drifter is great, beware of the two versions
my daily commuter has had these on it for years. they hold up really well. my current daily 30 mile roundtrip commute is a combination of concrete bicycle trail, gavel road, and urban streets.i didn't realize there was two versions of this tire. i usually get them through the local bike shop and they apparently have only stocked the survivor series version.the one I received via amazon was the DRIFTER CITY CTR version which has two protection layers vs the three on the survivor. the tread on the new tire I received also doesn't wrap around the sides of the tire as much as the old ones and the side wall seems a little thinner. the city seems to be more lightweight, which could be a benefit, but right now I'm not sure if it'll be as durable as the survivor.just wanted to make people aware, the model code for this product does say CTR, but the detailed product description as well as the pictures included in some of the reviews are for the survivor version.

2 different max PSI ratings on the tire. *****Updated 4/5/19 up from 3 to 5 stars *****
I received these tires yesterday and noticed they have two max PSI ratings on the tires. On the rubber black sidewall, the max PSI states 60 psi and on the Drifter "decal", also on the sidewall, it states 65 PSI. I emailed Serfas to ask if this was a mistake, a possible knock off and if not, which PSI rating should I go by. Ray Kuipers, [email protected], wrote back "Sorry about that you can put either 60-65 psi in the tire" and confirmed the tire is authentic and it is a mistake and is being corrected. I will update this rating once I have used the tire for at least 200 miles. Only giving it 3 stars because of the max psi error. Makes me feel like this was a different style tire in their line-up that was rebranded. idk.Update: I don't care what the side PSI error is (I have them @ 65psi). I just put these tires on and they are super fast rollers compared to the knobby tires and they are quiet. Love them. So upgrading my review from 3 to 5 stars.

Great tires, on road an off. Probably want full knobbies in extreme slop, but I've never had a traction issue with these.
This is my second set of these tires. First set lasted me 4 years-ish(?). Easily got 20K miles out of them (I ride on average 150 a week all year, 15° - 100° conditions (missouri, we get the full gamut). with a brief hiatus when my twins were infants). I don't do a lot of off rode, which is why I got these to replace the knobbies that came with my rock hopper. Old pair was showing purple. The pic that comes with this one implies the wear indicator is red. I'll let you know 20K+ miles from now :).

A Well Appreciated Upgrade..!
Relatively new to being an all time cyclist, (approximately 2 years). I practically completely wore out my stock issued 29'r Schwalbe Rapid Robs. I came to realize that the girth and the knobby tread of a trail equipped hardtail MTB, doesn't work for the full time cycling commuter enthusiasts. My original purchase attempt was for the MAXXIS HOOKWORM, but the delivery time was to far off for my immediate need. So by unintentional circumhaps, I righteously came across these "SERFAS" Inverted Tread Hybridized Tires. These are lighter side in contrast to HOOKWORMS, cost a schoch less, with visual impact and are more maneuverability efficient than trail grade tires. These tires are well worth getting...

So far, so good..
I just received and installed these tires today for my GT MTB that had 27.5x2.10 tires. My main concern was that these were going to look stupid because they are 2.00, but once they were on they looked just like they belong. Right now because I am unsure if my rims are tubeless, I used tubes and aired them up to 65psi.. Took my bike for a short test drive and was pretty impressed with the drastic change in rolling resistance, handling, and sound. I can't wait to see how these tires affect my long rides on the Greenway path in North Carolina. I know one thing is for certain, I won't be hearing a swarm of bees chasing me anymore.

Nice tires for more street use than trail use on ...
Nice tires for more street use than trail use on my Mountain Bike.Had knobby trail tires with a street center tread prior to installing the Serfas, so no real speed or rolling resistance change. However a very much improved ride in comfort, especially around higher speed corners. With the old tires I would feel very unstable leaning over much in a turn. These it is rock solid and secure on my daily 20mph turn that I take.Have around 200 miles on them now and couldn't be happier.

Great tire
I got this tire for local paved trails around my home. I needed something that was decent on wet pavement, could take a curb and still carry a little bit of speed. I am really pleased with them, they have been great. Not quite sure about the people that say these are good on gravel because they have spun out for me on anything that isn't paved. I rolled the dice on these but they work as TUBELESS also! With my tubeless rims, used some gorilla tape, stan's sealant and they popped on with a little bit of work. I have had them for a few months and probably put about 200 miles on them and no visible leaks. Don't hesitate to buy.
