myStromWiFi Button, Smart Button, 3 Print Patterns, for myStrom, Hue and SONOS Smart Home Devices, Countless Apps and Services via IFTTT, White

Needed a “bring me tea” summons for the other half when he’s stuck in meetings WFH. Programmed it to turn on a light in my office so I could oblige. Triple trigger means also created another couple of Home Automation rules so it’s serving several roles.

The Android app's reliability and UX is below the already low market standard of cheap smart devices. E.g. the instructions don't match what actually happens (no blinking white light), if you press the Android's back button you'll close the app, there is no submit button after you enter your WiFi's password (have to click outside the input first), after completing the setup device appears only after a minute.Ordered to control my smart lights (different manufacturer) through Alexa as in Q&A it was suggested it's possible. Had to use an app/service chain MyStorm -> IFTTT -> Voice Monkey -> Alexa. The click to action takes ~5 seconds to complete which is far from ideal. Sad they didn't integrate it with Alexa directly (couldn't find a MyStorm skill they advertise in their web page).Nice things. Looks great, rechargeable, and has a magnetic base.

This little button is awesome. Using IFTTT to link MyStorm to Mkzense means I now have a button that triggers 3 different routines.

While the app wasn't great it didn't take long to get it connected to IFTTT. From there it can control anything. It takes a second from pushing the button to activate a routine. With three different press (short, long and double press) this one little button becomes strong and mighty. Brilliant!

I realise there are very few options for controlling generic wifi smart bulbs with a battery powered button… and this does try, but doesn’t really work. I don’t have any myStrom devices, but with IFTTT support, I hoped I could make this fit into my smart home. Unfortunately, the delay between pressing the button and the command happening is unbearable… and it seemed to work about one out of every three times.I returned it.

If you have a day and are friends with a rocket scientist then you might be able to make this work. I’ve set up Alexa smart buttons in minutes. 2 hours later, this thing is going back.

The media could not be loaded.  Grande oggetto. L’ho usato per realizzare un citofono esterno che mi faccia squillare il cellulare con IFTTT quando sono in giardino. La batteria dura talmente tanto che ti dimentichi di caricare.

Avoir l'application myStrom ou autre pour l'installer, et programmer le bouton sur un groupe créer au-préalable. Par exemple vous pouvez allumer plusieurs lampes en même temps (toujours sur myStrom) il faut installer un Wifi Switch selon le cas avant.

Przycisk jest dobrze wykonany ale funkcjonalność jest zerowa: powiadomienia przez IFTTT dochodzą z opóźnieniem lub wcale, nie można współdzielić produktu z innymi osobami, funkcjonalność normalna dla innych produktów tutaj dostępna jest tylko w płatnych planach subskrypcyjnych.

Met gebruik van bijvoorbeeld IFTTT kan deze smart knop diverse smart apparaten bijvoorbeeld aan of uit zetten. 3 mogelijkheden (als je 1 keer drukt dan gebeurt die aktie, als 2 keer drukken dan gebeurt een andere aktie, ...).Opmerking: op de Android telefoon het lijkt blijkbaar onmogelijk om de MyStrom wifi button te installeren met de huidige (januari 2023) (Google Play Store) app van MyStrom. Indien mogelijk installeer dan indien beschikbaar in de plaats met een Apple iPhone, de installatie is daarmee succesvol en ook zichtbaar daarna op de Android telefoon.
