Perfect for the cost
Hooked this up to my pre-existing underground fence line and turned on and we were good to go. I have 1 dog who is exceptionally stubborn, and I truly thought he was a lost cause. Surprisingly he stays in the yard most days. Now on rare occasion, he decides its worth it to take the shock and go next door and play with his dog friends, but its so much better than it used to be. Before we got these collars if he went out the door, he was gone for hours and there was no getting him back until he decided to come home. The only downfall to this collar is when the power goes out, it resets to level 1, which doesn't even phase my dogs. So we have to make sure to check that when the power goes out. Other than that, ive had zero issues and we only charge the collars every other week or so.

Waste of Money. Not adjustable and collar beeps correction when turning on
After set up, I tested the system. My old system needed to be set to about 75%, for it to be picked up. This one when I turned to 60 it was going off 15’ from wire, went back and turned down to 50, same thing. Turned down to 30 and I can put the receiver on the wire and it not go off. Had to find that at 36 it will activate 1 foot from wire but it shocks as it activates. Also when u turn on Receivers they give off a loud beep, very similar to the correction tone, dog gets scared runs away from whatever it is doing and pisses. Thing is nuts. Dog is too but when the hell does it have to beep loud as hell. As per set up. If u have set one wire it’s the same as all the rest.Summary; control box is not really adjustable either on or off, but u have to find that one spot for on. The receivers are nice having two but the beep to turn on freaks the dog out. And the shock as beep when dog gets near fence. Also I might add, the system I have had an orange dial and the photos showed a switch that u turned on for the collar, looks like these photos the system is digital but these are the collars that came with mine. Battery life for collar lasts less then 8 hrs. Waste of money, buying a petsafe fence.

A good place to start.
Let me start with this is a very budget friendly kit. Overall it works well but I do have some issues with it. The cable that they give you is incredibly thin think of phone cable wire I would say 20-24 gauge ball park it is solid core which carries the signal better, but also breaks internally if it kinks. Believe me if your unspooling a 1k feet it will kink and break. No worries I just went out and dropped an additional 40 on new wire(aluminium/steel) and clips. Secondly the collars, they fabric themselves are reflective and quite durable. The clasps are cheap and inadequate. Found the receiver lying in my drive way a few times. No worries a quick run to tsc and sorting through about 100 collars to find a properly sized one, and now that people is fixed. This system is adequate, but in reality you will end up spending extra in order to make it work appropriately. One last note the wire they use is appetising to field mice any exposed potion will be eaten through and will require splicing.

Somewhat faulty, but customer service is helpful
I ordered this fence system and was pleased with the speed of delivery. I used a trencher to create a full loop around my yard and then installed the fence at a depth of 2 inches, using the 500 feet of included wire and an addittional 400 feet. The control was then mounted by my back door and the display indicated the wiring completed a complete loop. Setup in its entirety took about 5 hours, but may have been faster had I had help. Unfortunately though, only one of the collars from my 2 collar system will work properly. The other charges and powers on, but it does not recognize the fence and allows my dog to roam outside of his boundries without reprimand but then twice randomly shocked him in the middle of the yard without warning. I have removed this collar from use and now have resorted to letting my two dogs out separately while using just the one good collar. If I could get another good collar then I would be happy with this purchase.Pros: delivery speed, instructions, simplicityCons: faulty collar, small quantity of wireUpdate. Neither collar works. The dogs run through it at the widest setting. They killed a neighbors cat.Update. After speaking with customer service I was able to reset and have one functioning collar, and they are sending out a free replacement for the other. I am upgrading my review from a 1 to a 3.Update. Customer service replaced the whole unit and it works very well now. Just don't leave it on the dogs in the house. I'm upgrading to a 4. Customer service is a definite 5.

Great system, just needed a little help from customer support to install
I used the underground fence system to supplement my 4ft chain link fence that my dog (husky mix) can jump clear over. I zip tied the wire to the fence all around, which was not too hard. I thought I could create a dead zone against the back of the house by twisting the together but learned through calling help support that the wire must be twisted together from the transmitter (which I did not do). So, I had to run the wire in front of the house to make the proper loop and dead zone. I had to buy more wire to finish the system which I just purchased at Lowes. Customer service was very helpful and prompt with explaining what I was doing wrong. System works great and my dog respects the chain link fence now. Battery life on the collar is good as well. Would recommend to others.
